I don't understand how you added a custom field for an action they took. And can you add custom data after they have become a contact? If they go to a page and fill out additional information can that get added to the crm? Or how about before they've submitted the form? Example. Say you have a 3 step optin form. Page 1 asks for their name (submit) Page 2 asks for phone submit Page 3 asks for email then this gets all 3 data points added to the crm
Hey Anthony! Yes, you can add new custom data at any time after a contact is added to your system. And the 3-step opt-in scenario you describe is totally possible. Depending on the software you're using, it might require multiple forms and they would need the ability to connect to Active Campaign via API.

Yes. We have an Automation Hub Airtable base and most AC data gets stored in there. We also use formulas to create quick links to take us back to specific parts of AC. It makes navigating your account super quick and easy.

Great info! I have my customers segmented based on the health category of the supplement they bought- but Im not sure how to personalize a campaign - Im a vet so my mind goes technical and medical, but i dont think that info creates a 'relationship'???

Hey! Great content as always! Three ways in which I can segment my customers by their intentions, young mums wanting to earn money as portrait photographers. Housewives who want to learn a new hobby or make some 'pin' money, and career changers who are frustrated in their current jobs and want to start earning in photography.
They Gemma. Those are great. Very diverse. Now you just need to figure out how you want to identify these groups in your email system and, how you can automatically have people segment *themselves* as they come into your list to make it easier for you to communicate what they care about. Sometimes that's as simple as adding 1 extra question to an opt-in form.

Hey Andy! I have not used Zoho CRM so I don't have an opinion on it specifically. That's because I've been successfully producing results with Active Campaign for the past 7 years - if it ain't broke, don't fix it right? There have definitely been times earlier in my career when I spent more time 'playing with all the tools' but these days I prefer to do what works. I have on my list to explore Go High Level at some point but in 2+ years in the Automation Bridge community, I haven't heard anyone talk about Zoho CRM as a serious option. I hope that helps!

Apparently, Active Campaign has included a new CRM app, the name of which I forget. I am looking for a tutorial on how AC now provides a more sophisticated CR experience with this new integration. I purchased the bundle including the new crm, but I see nothing about the upgrade to AC
