Dude...This has been driving me BONKERS!!! It didn't make any sense that we couldn't have a full, 100% ariel view straight down. Then I found this video and THANK YOU, for that tip of using the 'Align Camera' feature. Such a simple thing yet it never occurred to me to try that. Still not 100% ariel view down but helped......but then......I uncheck the 'Parallelism' box and BAM! full 180 view STRAIGHT down. It was the 'Parallelism' that was preventing this the whole time. Game changer. Now I can create those amazing, cinematic shots straight down flying over a snowy landscape just scraping the tops of the pine trees. This video is from 3 years ago so I am sure you have already figured that out by now but still wanted to share my findings.

Use Photoshop to increase canvas width, delete background and export as PNG to manipulate scale to column ratio and elimnate white rectangle. You could use an action to batch process all the images.

I've been using Revit since 2007 and occasionally I have not had survey's before commencing projects. I've previously sucked up the pain of moving the levels and then went around and corrected things. I wish I knew about relocating years ago. There re so many things we all can learn. Thank you! why does this show me 4 decimals when ive selected 2 decimals in units? idk if im bad at searching this or no one else has this problem but i need this fixed dimension tool shows the right 2 decimals but this one is broken to the core mm shows 1 decimal unless i chose more, cm shows 2 unless i use more but selecting less will result in 2 decimals, m is the same but i have 4 decimals

Have difficulty connect the last step with the landing. It seemed that through the number of step is correct and there is no missing but when the creation of it is over, I see a gap to the exact dimension of a step between the staircase and the slab.

I don't have access to the full Revit licence. and I wanted to add different options on my residential plan, but since I don't have the Design option on my Revit I decided to create different Group option for the floor plan needs. do you know If it's a good idea or I can use any other commend that Revit Lt can handle? Hi, I noticed that when adding the spot light to the custom path it only shows up when the path is activated but not when its inactive and you only want to see the light moving/floating over the floor. Would you know how this could be fixed?
