Let's say an office chair or curtains are brought into TM with the desired fabric already applied. Now I want simply apply some opacity to that material in TM so I can see through it just a little. Is that texture (and potentially the file type) really supposed to be modified in Photoshop so that it has a grey alpha channel thereby allowing it to be semi transparent? Am I missing something? Why can I not just simply add a little opacity to the material in TM without modifying the actual map? You videos are great, but this is a mystery to me. I feel like I'm missing something.
