NASCAR got more publicity out of Kyle attempting to do the double than the 600 did on it's own. Kind of how they use the Stenhouse punch to hype viewership but suspend him anyway. NASCAR's leadership has absolutely sucked ever since Bill Jr. passed.
Larson in a Sprint Car is as exciting as any racing I have ever seen. I know nascar pays the big money and Hendricks has been awesome to Kyle with opportunities and sponsorship for his many racing endeavors but I will always be pulling for him to race on dirt,in particular 410 Winged Sprints..
NASCAR would take a big hit in attendance if they piss Kyle off and he leaves nascar and heads to Indy. Besides he’s probably better than half or more of the Indy drivers right now. Just think once he gets a few races under his belt Nascar and Indy got a big boost in viewers on that weekend
I read comments on RU-vid, many different topics on posts, and I must say that many people are no longer able to post a comment that is decipherable due to poor grammar.
Glad to hear Bloomquist is racing again. He had said he only had one car and one engine, then destroyed that car a week later. The idea of Bloomer not having a car to race with seemed ridiculous to me. I'll take every chance to see a legend before he retires for good, even if it is in a Modified.
It basically boils down to Kyle has a wife like Theresa Earnhardt.. Everything was fine while the money was rolling in.. Now that Kyle has succeeded at every level, and money is no longer an option, wants him to slow down and be a family man.. You could tell she was over all of it at Indy.. Kyle Will probably end up like Dale Jr.. Amy wears the pants around the house and Dale just commentates from the sidelines with podcast from the basement.. At least Dale Sr had the balls to set the woman straight instead of letting the gold digger run shop!
Extremely rude and misguided post. Mrs Larson is from a racing family and is super supportive. When Kyle was out of nascar in 2020 she sold me a shirt and hat. They seem awesome together and I congratulate both of them and wish them well wherever the future takes them...
I’m not surprised about Larson slowing down his dirt racing somewhat. It was bound to happen sometime. Why not now? I’m sure it’s got to be tough being away from the family as much as he is at times. Great info
NASCAR likely feeling like they’re walking a line with this idea of drivers missing races for various reasons. Everyone knows the races don’t really matter anymore once you lock in with a win so nascar put itself in this position
If I was Bell, I'd be happy but pissed off because his dream was to race on the little track at Texas and I don't think they are going to race that track anymore. By the way... he never raced at that race a couple of years ago. His race night was on night 2 and the wreck happened on night 1. He pulled out in respect to his paycheck I have a friend that has been a good friend of his since long before his Nascar career.
Will be camping at Mississippi Thunder. Not surprised a good chunk of cars didn't show either, I'm also not sure it's a bad thing (at least from the fan point of view).
Gosh, I really hope Larson chooses to race in the Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway. It's my hometown track and he's won the event before. NASCAR is off the weekend of the race so maybe?
Kyle has to do what's best for him and family. However, I believe what makes him be at the level that he's at is because of all the different cars and different races that he does. I know that the Memorial Day weekend races didn't go as well as hoped, but things happen. I think he did great!
Larson should stick to his nascar job, waiver or not, NASCAR should not be given waiver, and should not be al😢to race for NASCAR championship, because he missed a nascar points race, which was glad to do,as Logan stated, all other nascar drivers have not missed races,it's the rules
Um Kyle broke his leg while racing a NASCAR race! Don't be a hater! And Larson never sat in the car at Charlotte. Come on people, get your facts straight!
Didn’t Kyle run the late model at Vado in January? That was when he decided to run chili bowl and fly back n forth. Also would stink not to see Larson defend at Knoxville. If there is one event a year that Larson could run at it would be Knoxville for sure
I'm not at all surprised that SHR is selling off everything and leaving NASCAR. I would be surprised if Tony sold Eldora or closed up his dirt team. He's a dirt tracker at heart. I will add this, I'll never say never, stranger things have happened.
Nascar is a mess, kit cars, playoffs, charters and general politics. It's not a home for real racers like Stewart anymore. I see him staying in dirt for a while.
Only thing that may change with the Sprintcar team, is they may go back to Chevys from Fords. Either way, whether Tony owns it, or Donny owns it, I think the 15 car isnt going anywhere and will be running with the Outlaws for years to come.
Tony was upset enough about ElDora being bypassed in favor of Bristol for the cup dirt race that he tore up the contract for the truck race. When Ford denied him the opportunity to hire Larson I suspect that was the final nail in the coffin. Tony will do well with whatever he decides to do, and I will be supporting him.
If Eldora becomes a problem with having family time and drag racing,it will not be a surprise that Eldora would be the next chop. Used to follow Stewart but when he sold the Allstars, not a fan anymore. Time will tell. They say things happen in 3's.
I don't really think he will sell it any time soon, that place is still special to him. IDK about the whole all star thing, I feel like they were having a hard time finding and keeping a series sponsor. Maybe he was approached by Kyle and Brad because they didn't want to rub him wrong by doing their own thing. It's in good hands.
@@Brian-vd4mgexactly comparing it to a race where only about 5 of the cars in the field could run a full lap before junking the car driving that hard is not a very good comparison which is what tons of people are doing and that’s if you ignore the fact that the bottom was so bad and rutted that you’d get a atv hung up
@54raceman 3 lucas, 1 UDTRA ( HAV A TAMPA) 10 Summer nationals races all at macon and most summer nationals races had 30 or more late models. Also seen a All star sprints and Usac sprints race and they where very good races it was just a bad night there this place can put on a good show
