RIP Barefoot. While I am too young to have ever seen Bob himself race, he was a favorite of my father’s for years, and his legacy is not lost on me. I’ve seen both Tim and Jordan in modifieds and late models several times locally over the years, and hope it stays that way for some time. Condolences to the family.

I watched "Barefoot" Bob McCready race once at Airborne Speedway in New York in the eighties when the Air Force sent me to Plattsburgh for a couple of months. Really loved being up in that area. Beautiful country!

that's my current home I would be willing to bet you would be hard pressed mustering those feelings nowadays the drugs have taken quite the choke hold on the area wish though I would've been around for the base.

Grew up watching Barefoot, he mastered every track he raced, a true legend, may he R.I.P. and prayers to his family. 36 cars at Outlaw, As for Port Royal, it's supposed to rain all day Saturday, I doubt they'll race.

My condolences to the MacCready family I got to know Bob years ago help Volusia during the winter nationals you always seem to have time to talk to the fans he was just a down to the Earth real racer think of all the Heavy Hitters he had to beat to get to 500 victories I remember last time I seen him he was sitting in the stands I was sitting with him and he was helping a Canadian guy named Pierre with his modified I have some pictures that I like to send to Timmy of his dad rest in peace Barefoot Bob
