Im having this issue on a Axisflying Argus F7 pro stack combo. 4 in 1 ESC, 65amp. Im not sure how to fix it. Im wondering if just swapping tye FC with a new one same model would make a difference?
hi i see in betaflight that you have a preset for cinematic. "UAV tech Rates with cinematic/whoop options" is the preset applicable for any build/drone like the gepRC LR 4.0 or the mark 5?
@@uavtech Daaamn... I must funally get the gyroflow working... I still run good old Gopro Session 5 and it's got some messed up gyro sensor or what (I thing I've read somewhere thet Session 5 has too sensitive gyro... maybe, don't remember). So either I finally go and upgrade my HD cam or I'll build externar gyro logging device (I saw some tutorials for that) and I'll finally get to use some propper stabilisation. :)
7:19 sorry I’m late to the party. There are 2 ADC FILTER checks on radios. Try “UNCHECK” the ADC FILTER in your radio in “SYS” and tab 7 or 11. The other one is in lua. I’m sorry I’m not near my radio atm. All this is if you are using elrs xxxhz TUNE PRESET
Hi I'm new in the hobbies I tried tuning my quad for myself I think it fly's great punch out properly wash goonbut if I drop the throttle quickly after a punch out I get a wobble left to right but is smoothens out after ABIT 3 wobbles.dinamic idle set to 25 get longer inverted hang time
What about desync.....my quad flies beautifull amd punches good...no wobbles except slightly on going fast rotating 180 amd punch i get little prop wash issue...but only when i punch and flick roll to do a fast low snap roll or juicy flick its as soon as i blip the throttle amd kill throttle, once i flick stick to full roll it will deathroll and fall out the sky....im lost i tried fast timing and raised dmag... im on bluejay
I am so close to selling my quads....I put bluejay on all of them but both my 5 inch quads are literally deathrolling every time I try to roll them....nothing is working and I am not throwing more money at them
I recently built a 3" 1s with MP6500 gyro while waiting on a lighter board with BMI270. I have also used the ICM42688. I repeatedly tried all 3 gyros on different builds and so far the MP6500 just feels worlds better with any old tune while I can barely get the bmi270 to feel like it's locking in, the icm is a little better but nowhere near the mp6500. I'm wondering if you have noticed this? I'm not talking about stuff like bounce or reaction speed/stick feel. Just tracking and quickly locking after almost any maneuver, even bad air.
Late to the party, but still using some old kiss v1 and this perf edition is nice with vtx table. But the problem is that betaflight lua script doesn't seem to work on the radio. Anyone had this issue?
I posted this on one of JB's old videos but I don't expect he'll respond to me, I'll post it here too cause you've helped me a lot in the past and this video came up when I was searching fly aways. I was flying in heavy wind, like 30-40mph, the quad had performed great during the flight with no apparent issues, but when I went to land and went to like 10% throttle my quad said nope and took off. I was able to recover it by pitching into the wind more and it seemed fine with that, and ultimately was able to land it pushed over at about 40 degrees and then disarmed once I was able to wrestle it close to the ground, but if I tried to flare at all it would go crazy again. Air mode was turned off, cause it had flown away before after arming and I put it on stock pids, I had it on higher multiplier before. The frame is really noisy and home built so I guess I just need to lower all my pids rather than raise them? It seems fine in normal flight now though without wind. I guess the wind was causing the quad to oscillate in ways it couldn't predict and feeding back into the pid loop, but I don't know what to lower or raise to stop it from doing that. I raised the I term and in calm wind it seemed to be more stable and responsive, but not sure if it will have this problem in the wind again, or if that will make it worse. I have the blackbox for the flight but I can't determine where it happened just looking at the traces, it seems normal to me, the setpoint never seems to be wrong which it clearly was, or what I should change to stop it from happening again.
I'm not sure 35 amps is enough. I have this stack on my 3.5" Bee35 build running on 6s. Manufacturer says it's rated for 3s to 6s. Twice I had motor wires "de-solder" during pretty routine maneuvers and recently smoked the esc after a hard (not even very hard) landing. Im not an electrical engineer by any stretch but I think the ESC is at fault. I'm posting here to see if anyone else has had trouble with this stack running 3.5" props at 6s. By the way, the motors are 2205 3200kv. I feel like I'm running everything within spec. Anybody else having problems? I ordered another in case the bad one was a fluke. I usually have good luck with SpeedyBee products. HAPPY FLYING AMIGOS 🫡 🍻
Thank you for the video sir. I've had very limited experience with presets, I tried your 5" Freestyle with GoPro tune last night and my quad has never flown better. Flashing to 48k esc and that tune got rid of all of the jello on my RCO 5. Thank you so much for posting this. Keep sending!
I put mine to 24khz and i have never heard such horrible sounds coming from my quad. The trilling and occilations was scary, why cant i use 24? 5 inch normally on 48khz
because your motors have enough torque that they can brake (slow down) when the pulse is off at 24k. Meaning, you need faster pulses for super-high torque motors. It is a good thing actually. Good motors. Keep in mind that the electric charge of the coils is on or off. At 5% throttle, it is off 95% of the Duty Cycle. One small pulse on and mostly off. At 100% throttle, it is ON 100% (0% off). The PWM is how many pulses you have per second. 24,000 or 48,000. Since the motors slow down between each small pulse at 24k, they start to vibrate and cause a horrible grinding sound. At 48, it is too fast for them to react. Like the human eye can not see a 60hz screen flicker of a monitor, but a camera can, unless you increase the screen refresh rate. If you can see the flicker with your eyes, you have good eyes.
@uavtech wow! thanks for the detailed reply! Im confused why I can't run 24khz on a high end build as others are using it without problems like me. I'm fine with the stock 48, it flies great, just curious. Is there something I have to change along with the pwm to get it to run smoothly?
Great summary, Sir. And yeah, bidirectional dshot RPM data comes right after every motor command, so pretty much every PID loop. Then it's being filtered a little, i think with 150hz pt1, which gives ~1ms latency at frequencies close to zero.
I have a problem I'm hoping you can help with... my 7" rig throttles up when initiating yaw or a semi tight turn. I've tried multiple pre-sets... any idea what could be going on?
INAV is pathetic on so many levels. One would say that is would be superior in tasks like RTH, land and disarm. The recent tests of INAV 7.x show that after many years the colision / land detection in INAV is still inferior and that it hapilly fry your motors being upside down at the ground. The BF's rescue mode does much better job here.
Thanks for putting out these videos, glad to have you working with the BF team on this. Will you update your preset for 4.5? Really like the micro preset.
Actually it's possible to get ESC telemetry much faster than your seeing. It's technically possible to get 8k ESC telemetry. Yes it does have more overhead than bidirectional dshot, but it's possible bf just isn't setup for that.
Weirdest thing. I held position hold for a long time. And then copter went crazy. I realized it seemed to lose compass. But i started flying again got compass direction again. I checked compass was right before taking off. And right while flying again
Hi, can you tell me whats wrong with my Meteor? the image is overexposed all the time. Can I adust some settings? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W5V1iFk8hC8.html
I am thinking of putting alt hold and position hold on a separtae channel, so that I can apply alt hold to angle/horizon/acro as needed. However, if I do that what would happen if I initiated RTH i, say, position hold was enabled.. does RTH just overide everything?
