There were a number of deaths from the tornado that hit from the hurricane sadly. Thankfully my family is safe but some communities are still shut off as they are looking for missing people and trying to go through the rubble 😩

This never makes any sense to me. What about the 15ft storm surges? You wont even be able to see your house. Hope you survive this and even if you do then what?
Not all of Florida will get storm surges or surge that high. We are not in that area. We will be hit with a cat 1 but are more inland on the other side so we won’t be covered, may flood some but not in a flood zone here at the house. 🙏🏾

The highways were full of cars out of gas cuz the traffic getting out was so bad, sadly many who tried could not get out. The people from helene did not even have a warning as to how bad it was-cloud seeding was seen to have happened on radar not long before all hell broke loose in NC, TN, FL.... I lived in NC for 40 years. This was unheard of flooding. It was worse than flooding, the world dropped out from underneath them in Appalachia... My heart goes out to all affected. Just watching the videos of how waves of water crashed thru buildings-our current administration of doom & FEMA spent all that money on illegal migration & for other countries to murder each other-so nothing left for our own people with their own tax dollars. 😢😡🤡🌎 The media and NC gov is lying about FEMA assistance. They got there and STOPPED rescue missions that had been going on for nearly a week before they got there! FEMA also stole supplies and made themselves hard to be seen, or known to be anywhere cuz people are saying they did not see any fema help for 8 days!
It’s hard to feel sorry for the people that are making excuses as to why they can’t leave or won’t leave. Shelters are set up, if you are disabled there are numbers in every area and county you can call for help. There are shuttles, free busses that are helping to transport people. There are people on all the local Facebook pages willing to help. Pack a bag, some food, meds, documents, your comfort items fit in a bag and leave. Should have been leaving from yesterday. It’s better to be uncomfortable in a shelter or sleeping in your car in a safe area and alive than dead because you are stubborn. We are on The treasure coast, no evacuation orders, we know the areas that flood, anywhere is prone to flooding i mean this is Florida after all. We are prepared. Full time travel if done correctly is cheaper than living in most us cities. Find a partner to go with you, this allows you to split accommodation. Go to a developing country
Oh for sure, I travel on the cheaper side without loosing too much comfort. After 59 countries I found my sweet spot. The short and spending a lot is for shits and giggles. Gotta use all the points saving, deal finding ways to save And enjoy. ☺️ happy travels
