Thanks for the video mate its looks hard work that. I had the same problem with the right earcup just completely dead so i sent them in to sony UK and they wanted £270 for the repair which almost the same price for a brand new pair when all they said it was a software problem for it not working no physical problem so i declined and got the headphones back so now i have a broken pair of xm5s with no clue on how to fix them 😅 i read up online that after a certain update either late last year or early this year caused a malfunction and created this issue so it makes me wonder whether they did this purposely to scam their customers 😮 ridiculous either way haha
hi after i successfully reset chip 4 led light blinks then no more.total power is 12volts and each cell to about 3.99 volts i assume after reset chip led light should still be blinking but mine shuts off and no more light anymore still not charging or turning on but all in the programming was ok. thanks
I have been using the same headphones for the past year. Suddenly, I started to hear a disturbing buzzing sound from the right side of the headphones. Intermittently, the buzzing would stop, so I thought it was okay. However, one day, the left side of the headphones suddenly stopped working. What should I do?
Hey Mr.Drone thanks for the video, my SC is not turning on but turns on when i plug it to the 24w DJI charger with power on, or else when it is disconnected it shows full charge but when i press power on it vibrates shows DJI and turn of again can you please help me out to resolve this please
No, but have done a factory reset, saw some videos saying new firmware has bugs so didn't update, do you think it works? I showed it to a local technician he told the batteries are good could be a complaint of IC but i to do not know, you could be able to tell better.
I have a problem with the rigth side but only when i turn on the noise cancelation. When the NC is on, this side starts make a weird noise, like a little turbine. Any idea how to fix that?
Thank You, I have followed your directions and all seemed OK. However the maps do not seem to download. Waited 15 minutes but the circle just keeps going round and round. After 15 minutes I went to themaps icon, top right of download page and this states no maps have downloaded. I have tried to press the download button but nothing happens, just the circle going round and round, Have you any thoughts??
@@mrdrone1212 Thank you for your response, I mean what is the V and A value of the power supply you give to the battery? I just took apart the Mavic Air 2 battery and it went into hibernation because it couldn't be read with the CP2112. After I disassembled it and checked it turned out that Cell 1 (3.56v) - Cell 2 (2.26v) - Cell 3 (2.66v), I plan to buy an Imax B6AC balance charger, but I'm a beginner and still don't know how to set the manual charge for each cell.
Hey, i just want to share my story about my headphone WH-1000XM5. I had the same problem as you, that my right side of headphones is literally dead, not working at all (all by means, the main functions as sound and the noice cancelation) other than that is working, like the touch gesture and commands. I do make a very unfortunate decision for that though, i made an attempt to service it to the SONY service center. After couple days of waiting, they said that my AC system circulation is broken. So i asked them, is that had anything to do with the way i charging it? The said, it might have. I've been asked with what type of ampere do i've been charging it with? They said the ampere you should charge it is about 1.5 - 2 ampere. Which i was confused? Because the usual adaptors i've been using is only taking up the measurement like 18 watt/ 20 watt and I've never took any attention to what ampere is it using because in the trailer of the headphones said you can fast charge it. ALSO to mentioning, SONY never put the point up about how much the adaptors spesification it had to be charged with! (New update, my adaptors apparently is having the same ampere as they're saying) So i asked them again for another possibility of might be the reason, is that maybe because over charge? As long as i know, i always charge it to 80-90% because i'm using my 18watt adaptor and took timers for 25mins from 20% of battery left. But, yeah maybe sometimes i do over charge it, but not like for more than 10 minutes i usually took timers to set. So... XM5 doesn't have any cutting power system? They said, yes. That kinda made me shock. I never knew about that before. So, yeah maybe if it is, then, is it my fault not to know it? Yes :) it always back to users right? I'm in so much blue after that. Well, in the end i took the repairment proceeded tho. It took literally half and abit more of the actual price. They said, have to change the AC cables (along the head rest stem as well) that might broken along the way as well, but the repairing process is too much to handle (y'all know how hard of it's repairablity), so i literally have a new pair of headphones now! :) This is taking me way next level up of my comfort zone :) But thanks for the experience i guess?
Salutations, my brother. They won't be taking the speaker's place. That's how I used to do it. Usually, they do change the headband. It comes with two speakers. Consequently, the procedure is highly costly. Perhaps it explains why they declined to issue you a refund.
I BOW DOWN TO THE KING OF MICRO SOLDERING .... I am truly in awe of your skills with micro soldering and the fact that anyone would even try to replace this microscopic chip ... CONGRATULATIONS to you !!!! Your video skills are above and beyond the best that I have ever seen ... 👍👍

Accidentally crashed my Mavic Air 2 on the sea after hitting a boat wire. Flushed out the saltwater and have it cleaned immediately. Can I ship it to you for you to check if it still has a chance to get repaired? I’m from the Philippines by the way.
hi. did is also fixed the 5.8ghz transmission problem? i know it can fix the power and charging problem but mine still has a disabled 5.8ghz. thank you.
@@mrdrone1212 It's fine now, I just had the same problem but I've already taken it to the technician because mine had the same problem, it doesn't charge, it doesn't turn on anything.
Thanks. The controller dying completely when your drone is a mile away is a scary experience I don't want again. Got the battery off amazon and replaced in 15 mins. Part # WB4-5000. You can also buy the official DJI battery if you search through google
