The Glock 42 has been my EDC for nearly 2 years, typically with a Sticky pocket holster. I regularly practice 3-10 yards and find it very accurate short range. However, it doesn't surprise me that you could hit the target, as much as 100 yards; impressive with stock sights. I installed MagGuts, giving me 7 + 1 with the standard 6 round mag. I also have a mag with Strike Industries EMP Plus 2 extension, for 8 = 1, as well a Vickers =2 mag extension on another mag. In over a thousand rounds with each, no feed issues and no problems. I'm planning to install Ameriglo I-dot sights on my 42, the same as on my Glock 43X, Glock 19 and my Glock 44.

Is the MOFT compatible with an iPad Air 13 in M2? And when attached to the iPad and the Magic Keyboard, does the case prevent charging connection between the Magic Keyboard and the iPad when the cable is plugged into the keyboard? If you have a glass screen protector, will the iPad not close completely with the keyboard?

There's one factor you forgot to include. When it comes to revolver, it's not just the barrel length that affects velocity. You also have to take into account the cylinder gap.

Great video. I have a 500 Smith with 4" barrel, and my favorite bullet is a Lee C-501 RF 440, which I cast from Linotype, with the same Lee pot you have. I don't bother to sort them by weight, mainly because my marksmanship can't tell the difference. The bullet weighs 450 grains, with Thompson Blue Angel hard lube, and a gas check. I prefer gas checks for bullets used in 44 magnum , 454 Casull, 50AE, and 500 Smith. Cast bullets from Montana Bullet Works also perform well. By using cast bullets (especially ones you cast), and re-cycling the brass, costs for shooting the 500 can be brought down to reasonable levels, enabling more shooting.

Very nice video. Several things impressed me: ES, SD, are very low, and your very steady hold and excellent marksmanship. I have a 500 Smith, with 4" barrel, and unfluted cylinder. I shoot a lot of 350 grain GC cast bullets, mostly from Montana Bullet Works. I have the same Lee mold as you (C501-440-RF), which I cast from Linotype. After sizing, and lubing with Blue Angel hard lube, and swaging on a gas check, they weigh 450 grains. I don't load them all that hot, just a little over 1200 fps. Even so, they pack a nice wallop. Mine still wears the factory sights, as I prefer them over optics. However, I don't shoot nearly as well as you do. More than adequate for any game in the Western Hemisphere. My favorite powders are 4227, H-110, SR-4759, and A-5744.

I think it shoots like a laser. It is one of the only guns that I prefer a light +p round. I have a hogue grip that makes a huge difference. I wish when RU-vidrs did these long shots, they would tell their hold on the target. Incidentally, I’ve never had a misfire with a multitude of make/weight in about 1200 rds

Keith44 I love my customized model 329PD. Got it quad ported by Mag-Na-Port and it wears a Hogue 500 S&W recoil absorbing grip. Bowen Classic Arms stainless steel sculpted lanyard ring that is threaded to replace the screw that holds on the Hogue grip. Installed a 72 inch leather boot lace braided lanyard on it. Installed a stainless steel fluted 629 cylinder on it replacing the titanium cylinder it came with. Bowen Classic Arms black powder chamfered the front of the cylinder and beveled the charging holes. Mepro big Dot tritium front sight and Mag-Na-Port Electrical Discharge Machined a shallow vertical line in the V of the rear adjustable sight and filled it with white paint. Used an Original Precision Lock Delete matching metal plug of the “Hillary Hole”. MIM trigger and hammer were highly polished by Mag-Na-Port. Action job by Cylinder and Slide and fixed trigger over travel screw installed.

Reaching out for help. I have my first and second in two different revolvers. The bullet is preventing the cylinder from being opened. How do I get this resolved. ie. I have tried hitting the nose with a rod to push back into brass in cylinder but they don’t seem to be moving at all
@Keith44SWC
@Keith44SWC 4 месяца назад
Did you use a hammer or mallet to tap the rod against the bullet or just the rod itself? Try using a wooden dowel and a mallet or hammer. Go easy, tap the rod against the bullet and it should eventually push back into the cylinder chamber. If you use something harder than a wooden dowel, just make sure it’s softer than steel, the barrel material. I use a brass rod. Even then try to center it on the bullet so you’re not making contact with the rifling inside the barrel.
@jcobra1226
@jcobra1226 3 месяца назад
@@Keith44SWC thanks for the replay. I had already tried that. They won’t budge. Going to have to remove the barrel and knock one out the barrel and push the other back into brass in cylinder.
