💯 agree that sweet things, artificial included, absolutely causes cravings. I did my own n=1 and confirm at least on 3 separate occasions it would cause cravings. Blood sugar was unchanged but that sweet taste goes straight to the brain and awakens the cravings for more. I now sometimes use sweetener to stimulate hunger just to prevent under eating, Great tool once you realize taste alone can trigger cravings.
Great advice. Sweetened drinks and sweetened coffee are my crutches. I’m allowing it for my first 30. (One week to go.) Cutting stevia would give me room to change it up. Maybe month 3. 😂
Doesn't kelly drink all those natural flavors which could be 20-30 chemicals which give a sweet taste too? Also if trying to cut back, I love iced sparkling water plain personally. Also black coffee with sparkling water tastes good! Like a coffee soda
If you look at the packet it has natural flavours. In that I believe there’s maltodextrin, which is worse than sugar. I emailed the company to clarify. No reply. I have the citrus which I’m slowly getter through half a packet at a time.
I watch this after I had sweetened coffee 😅. I actually want to try this bc ive just recently gone more like dirty lion diet bc i still drink sweetened LMNT, also occasionally sweetened coffee. I also have a diet coke addiction I'm kicking lol I wanted to keep it so bad. Honestly its been harder to stop drinking soda then quit smoking!! 😅
I used to have a serious diet coke addiction too. I beat it 12 years ago by switching to unsweetened iced tea then to water. Some report switching to plain. Sparkling water works too. Good luck!
Twice a month I eat 85% chocolate doesn’t hurt me or give me extra cravings Organic cocoa beans Organic cocoa butter organic unrefined coconut Sugar and salt it’s like 510 calories and 26g carb only and only 10 grams of sugar 8 grams protein and like 14g sat fat so whatever if I choose to eat it!
