Yeah, this is how I ripped my r3 1200, cpu sticked to cooler and left with it, tried to place it again but pins were bent, tried to fix it, got even more broken pins, so it sucks. Luckily found second hand cpu for 30$, little bit better with wind 11 support as nice gift and next day installed it carefouly. I would suggest warm it for 30min in stress test.

To everyone complaining about the prices. I bought a cheap kvm switch from Amazon with all the features that this more expensive switch didn't have. The switch worked for a little bit and then ended up burning out during a power outage and took two of my monitors with it. Very expensive to loose two 4k monitors to a cheap kvm switch.

You don't need to be an electric engineer to follow a wiring diagram and to solder lol. I hope you take this to someone who can do it, because you really came up on this card. You can even quote the cost now that you know what's wrong with it.

@ThreaT650
@ThreaT650 4 дня назад
@@PCTechHustle I suppose, but if you already have the card and it's garbage\e-waste anyways, it's worth the attempt. It's hard to screw up if its just simple solders. It's not like reballing where equipment really matters and so does technique and practice.

@@PCTechHustle Plus the thing is people place too many barriers on things like that. Like building PCs are simple car work, or simple soldering. Barriers where there are none. Most people can do these things but people have got it in their heads that it's too complicated to deal with. It's rampant in the PC and gaming world unfortunately.

VGA Light would come on regardless of a screen being plugged in, the mainboard is telling you not VGA Card is detected, which means that GPU is not powering on. replacing that fuse takes literally 15 minutes, some flux and a few bucks for a new fuse.
@jarnovilen5259
@jarnovilen5259 12 дней назад
Replacing the fuse takes only a few minutes but that MUST NOT be done before finding out the reason the fuse blew. The card may be easily fixable but if you just replace the fuse and there is for example a shorted MOSFET, shorted to the die that is, you will most probably just destroy the GPU. The GPU may well be still ok but the short has to be repaired before powering up the card. Replacing a defective MOSFET is an easy job for anyone with hot air station and skill to use it. The only problem is that the parts have to be ordered and it may take weeks.
