Make a super flat world with one layer of tnt and one layer of pressure plates if making a true sky block is too taxing. Moment you spawn in, the tnt you stepped on will go boom. For extra fun, put dirt under the tnt so the whole thing blows up almost immediately. At the very least, it will be a sight to behold.
I think two layers of tnt can do the same. Not sure. As you continue to progress, more unloaded tnt could still be primed to blow. A fun little surprise.
You might want to turn pollution off in the server settings. The GTNH discord recommends it because pollution gets completely unmanageable the more your play AFAIK.
This feels like I’m watching how culture evolves alongside technology and quality of living. You went from wood huts to ornate masonry just because you could. It’s a unique thing to see.

IDK maybe you already know this but if you put TC crafting station next to a large chest you will have way larger inventory for crafting random things using NEI than the worktables
Yes! Fully caught up, learnt some new things along the way. V placing items on the ground, f7 light levels and today, 3 energy hatches to counteract the circuitry burnout. Also finally made me start to pursue IC2 crops. If I could give me own input, it’d be if you had some reeds it’s real easy to get a plumbia plant for lead through plant mutations.
Dunno if someone said this already, but you should be able to combine cables in the 2x2 crafting space in your inventory. if you put 2 of 1x wire next to eachother you get a 2x wire, and you can also chuck bigger wire in for the equivalent number of 1x wires
I know this is way to late, but i have to say it. using swords to break blocks damages the sword faster than using it to fight, could have reduced the times all swords broke and needed to fist the skeletons.
It is pretty universally agreed upon by the GTNH community to allow spawning in admin anchors for free chunk loading. Also 2.6 added completely free chunk loading.
