My name is Atique. I live in Los Angles, California and I am working as an Aerospace Engineer for The Boeing Company, USA. Aerospace Engineering is my passion and flying aircraft (as a pilot) is my hobby. I have an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, USA. I had a Bachelor's in Aeronautical Engineering (Aerospace) from MIST, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Besides, my full-time job at Boeing, I am also working towards my Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, USA. I came to the United States in August 10, 2018. I am also working towards my pilot license & during my free time, I fly Cessna 172 & 152 aircraft. I love to read books, travel and talk about technology especially aerospace, aviation technology, and aircraft. Stay with me and subscribe to my channel if you want to get more updates about higher studies, life, and career in the United States of America!
Hello sir! I am a UG from India who is just entering junior year in aerospace engineering at Texas A&M. Due to how my degree is structured, it's difficult for me to switch majors to mechanical engineering or even getting a minor in that as well. You said to take mechanical degree with some aerospace course you no longer bound to just take jobs in aerospace industry you can take jobs in mechanical and manufacturing industry as well including automotive so all fields are open I'm either planning to do integrated masters in aerospace engineering as it's cheaper since one less year, or attend a better college for masters in mechanical in engineering if possible (which I am unsure if I'm going to get accepted or not). I want to work in the aerospace sector but even the startups require GC/citizenship. I don't plan to go back to India to work. I hope to also travel the world whilst working in aero. I don't know about dual majoring in both mechanical/aerospace but that's a possibility I am open to if all goes well. What should I do? I feel Phd is too far as an option maybe, i feel master's is enough maybe. I am in a dilemma. Please help sir. My interests as of now are CAD, CFD, simulations, automotive industry (aero side). I like design aspect & coding isn't my strong suit

Great video and such good insights Mr Saif We have one question - You talked in detail about how it is difficult to get a job in United States after completing the Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering because of no Citizenship or no Green Card. You suggested to do Mechanical Engineering with some good amount of Aeronautical Engineering courses to secure a job in Companies like Airbus and Boeing. Our question is - why it is difficult to get a job in same Companies like Airbus and Boeing after a degree in Aeronautical Engineering but its easy to get the job in same Companies after doing a degree in Mechanical? Why will Airbus and Boeing distinguish a candidate between Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanical engineering if both of them do not have Citizenship or Green card?
@@vikasmathur8718 Oh I see! You understood slightly different! What I tried to say is- if you take mechanical degree with some aerospace course you no longer bound to just take jobs in aerospace industry you can take jobs in mechanical and manufacturing industry as well including automotive so all fields are open for you as mech so-called is a very broad field. And for aerospace mostly you are bound to aerospace field which needs citizenship so all your door is almost getting closed! Let me know if it is not clear!

"Sir, I'm a Grade 12 student from Nepal interested in writing research papers on topics related to aerodynamics or other areas of physics. Could you suggest some simple topics suitable for school physics labs? I'm hoping these projects will help me get scholarships or improve my CV for US university applications for aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated, as I find myself greatly inspired from you.
Thank You for this immaculate video Saif Bhai. I just have one question. My MS in International Affairs is starting this fall in the US and I do not have a research background in my undergrad (My BS was mainly a taught program). How can I reach professors at Grad school and convince them to grant me funding or TA/RA position without prior research hisyory. I will deeply appreciate your response on this. Thanks!!!
My brother is in UK.. persuing masters there from Cambridge University.. due to some monetary issues he is seeking jobs .. but failed to get it .. n this is affecting his studies aswell cuz he is not getting any source of income over there .. he is an aerospace engineer.. so is there any jobs for him sir .. can you please help us sir... It's really bothering all my family members
Sir, just for knowledge purpose, how much do you make in Boeing annually including all of your bonuses and other incomes? You can provide some sort of range if you aren't comfortable with it.
Hello sir , I am from Nepal and I have a great interest In aerospace engineering but as of my family condition , I would have to earn at least a little after completing bacholers, so I am in a great dilemma in choosing me or ae but if mechanical engineer and aerospace engineer earns about same after bacholers then I will definitely choose AE and go for ME in masters but if you say that ME earns higher after bs than AE (considering all security clearance, citizenship and job availability) then I will choose ME or should I do Electrical engineering in bs? Your suggestions will be highly valued to me.
@@SIDDHANTPOKHREL-q9s It’s for the people who wants to do the coolest job in aerospace industry! Not all jobs of engineers are same! If you want to do the coolest things like: Airplane Design, Airplane Performance and stability control for those specific position you need aerospace degree!
It’s a very tough thing to do honestly! I don’t have any weekend fun or activities! But I know this sacrifice is temporary and it will be rewarding! I do most of my PhD work during weekend and 2/3 hours everyday after coming home from office!
How much does it cost to pursue aerospace engineering in USA as an International student... How much it costed you? Please give some digits or range about the cost ...

Hello, is Wichita state university, kansas good for international students in terms of quality of education, recognition, reputation of the university for aerospace engineering /mechanical engineering?
@@usalife8852 OK sir, and after I complete my bachelor's, do I need to do my masters, because my main ambition is to become a pilot.. But I want a degree in hand and don't want to do the pilot training course directly without my bachelor's degree.. So what would you suggest sir? And any other points I should know from you about Wichita state university? Any other tips?
@@trishiadmello9971 If you want pilot training you don’t need to have an MS! Besides that Yoh can choose good university as they provide both Pilot training and BS degree like Embrey Riddle, UND, Purdue etc

Hello sir... Well i woul be going to study BS in Aerospace Engineering[Astronautics(Rocket, satellite&space)] in Northwestern polytechnical university with scholarship. Can i further apply for masters and phd to study in USA? Would it difficult? What about jobs in space industries!! Can i apply for a job in space industries in usa or across other nations like india(isro),Usa(Nsa) or private space companies . Is it true that only native citizens of the nation can work in their National space companies? If then,so i m from Nepal,i can only see two nations one is Usa ( where i can enter through EDV) Or in isro through ICRB exam or some where in private space industries through research or felloship.
