They are not riveted together. They are basically a Chicago screw. They actually make a tool set that makes it easier to get apart. I have the super tool 300, and it is my favorite tool that I own.
I like want like to like like go like to like the like store LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a brand new lefty pm2 has it bad! Spyderco sent me a junky xl manix recently as well about done with them damn thing hard to center, blade play etc ridiculous
Gave you seen the camouflage scales on the 111mm series? Don’t much like the scales on the 91mm. Too shiny. The bigger ones are not shiny, the scales are matte color and don’t scratch easily like the shiny ones.
Arguably the greatest tutorial involving one's middle finger I've ever witnessed. When he shows how to place it in your palm, and how the middle finger then joins up with the other two fingers it "wants to get back to," the riddle is solved and the trick is deciphered. Pupil becomes master. Well done my friend, even if I am a decade late.
There are 256 pages in this book with the index and appendices. There are 10 chapters in this book. There are recipes in this book. There is also a glossary in this book as well. Bushcraft 101 by Dave Canterbury is a good book to have in any library anywhere.
your wrong you can take apart a Leatherman there knurled screws the plier head is a just circular pins but the tool side has to flat sides so the body wont move, you can only turn the screw pin on the tool end, you can customise the Leatherman just remember to put a bit of lock tight back on the pins when you screw them back up
I'm glad you touched us on that topic a simple could have saved her life I remember a couple years ago I was working at this company where they had this packaging of cardboards this tie-down will come down over the boxes and tie them down the operator fast enough and now he had his arms tied down and he could stop the machine he yelled out for help some ran up stop machine but not before his arm were with 5 plastic tie the kill switch was out of reach the modifed the was place on floor, but the thing was,5 employees had some one found pair scissors in the office.
I have the Esee 6. Great knife and the steel and heat treat seem pretty awesome. I don't really like the plastic sheath and for the money ya why not throw in a kydex sheath. Not a big fan of the flat handles either, they're not only flat but kind of small and there's nothing on the butt, it just gets smaller which reduces its chopping effectiveness. As someone mentioned it is also blade heavy. I came here because I was looking for a comparison between the Esee 6 and BK7 and while I did learn some things I wanted to see them compared in action.
I carry a Multitool all the time and my friend always has a pocket knife and he has asked me to use my pliers, screwdriver on the Multitool, or he cuts himself trying to use his knife as a screwdriver, pry bar, or fail to fix something. Yes, a multitool is nowhere near the best tool for doing anything but I have helped people or got myself out of situations. As far as self defense, I doubt it will save you from a robbery or attacker, unless your a expert fighter with a knife, but even then, a bullet or a few bullets would most likely put you down. If your attacker has no weapons, I guess a knife, or a multitool could help, but I definitely wouldn't carry anything less than a gun for that purpose. I rarely cut open stuff away from home, so I use a pocket knife at home and a multitool away from home. A multitool is most likely acceptable by cops, if they see it, where knives are most likely considered as weapons. I have a Leatherman Charge G10 that has a S30V steel knife and Leatherman has the Arc with a Magnacut steel knife on it which proves knife steel can't be the reason to say pocket knife steel is better, but you can definitely say that knife blades on fixed or pocket knives can be bigger and stronger than multitool knife blades. I normally carry a SOG Powerpint, and the knife blade is ok for the small cutting I do away from home, but I normally use the pull hook cutter, the wire cutters on the pliers, or I need the serrated blade. I have used the knife a few times though. Because of the steel on the SOG Powerpint, I usually have a Leatherman in my vehicle backpack, or jacket pocket, just in case, if possible. I have a Leatherman Knifeless Rebar for a bag, jacket pocket or pouch carry backup and I sometimes change my SOG Powerpint for my Leatherman Rev, Bolster, or Bond, depending on what I am doing that day.
As a outdoorsman i think the awl is a must if for nothing more than boring holes in timber and maybe punching holes in a skull in self defence situations 🤔
I once couldnt baton through some hard knotty wood. Tried esee 6, ontario sp5, rtak 2 and the knife couldnt go through. When the bk 7 stepped to the plate it plowed through. Savre grind all the way
Esee learns from Becker but Becker is more stubborn to oearn from esee. Esee learned a quality from becker knives. 3 d handles. Becker still makes crappy sheaths except for the bk 18 and 19 (small blades) and crappy plastic for handles. Even without the warranty, if Becker included micarta handles and polymer sheaths. ALOT more people would huy Beckers. Also if their knives looked as cool as esee. If they did all that esee wouldn't compete as well.
I carry 2 at my job and 3 at home and among society. My reasons for carrying are both for work purposes and self defense. I've only had to use it for work only once, and I hope I never have to do it for self defense. So I guess I'm living by the "Have it and not need it, then need it and not have it" motto👍🏿
I have a Rebar, Wave+ and Free P4. The Rebar is my EDC when I'm not at work, my Wave is my work multi tool, and my Free is my spare. I prefer the Rebar over the Super Tool because my hands are not Super Tool sized.
I’m a bit tardy to the party but my input is that lockbacks are better than liner locks when they’re brand new but wear a lot more over time. I have a spyderco Endura with the Emerson wave and it won’t stay open anymore after 2 years of daily use.
I never owned a Delica but I do have a couple of Enduras and I used to own an Endela. I've go three Native 5s. A linerless S30V, an S110V in G10 and a LW in CPM-SPY27. I've also owned three Para 3s all in the same blade steels. Gave away my G10 S30V and my G10 S110V. I only have the LW iin SPY27. For whatever reason, I've never really been into the Para 3. Bought a Benchmade Mini Grip earlier this year and I love it. Now I'm waiting for a couple of knives. They're arriving today (09/09/2023). A Benchmade 940BK-2004 Blade HQ exclusive and a 945 Mini Osborne. I've been a Spyderco guy since the 'ber' months of 2021 but this lately, I've been so much into Benchmades. You can't lose with either of those brands.
Bought and read chris Kyle's memoir. Really enjoyed. Insightful not a biography reader usually. Read this memoir (biographu) glad I bought and read the memoir
