I'm considering one for covering my camper I stay in when I'm working on my farm. Would it be reasonably possible to roll up one side 2/3 of the way? Thanks!!
Looked like the outside of the arm was peened with a hammer in at least one bad spot. That'll make it much worse. A little grinder or dremel tool work first may have helped a lot. At least it did come out though!
Do you know whether or not one could just buy the separate framing pieces without purchasing a kit ? ( I need far less than what you've got here for the install.)
I have this same barn, going on over 10 years. Northern NY State. It is fully shaded in the Summer. The covers shrink over time and you need to to loosen it up after the first year and every few years after. You do not really want drum tight. Just no sagging. I usually bump the snow off from the inside with a wide push broom. But it eventually sheds snow if I do not get around to it. The biggest loading is on the sides from the snow that slides off the roof. The anchors need to stabilize horizontally also for this load. I also put ratcheting tie down straps between the "Ridge Tubes", sort of like rafters to prevent the sides from bulging with heavy snow loads. This has already won one battle with a fallen tree. Just had to get some special clear repair tape. Never use duct tape as that will leave residue that will never come off and will prevent a proper adhesive repair in the future. Duct tape also creeps and lets loose when warmed by the Sun.
Looking to get the exact same shelter. I guess you have to remove the snow off it periodically? Is it worth it would you by it again. Thanks Mate Great work
I haven’t removed any snow as of yet and it has held up just fine living in New York with a few very heavy storms. I have actually purchased two of them, so I would recommend buying it again! The assembly is daunting, but once it’s up, it’s worth it.
@@Mprobo Thanks alot I just ordered mine this mourning and got the ultra-duty tarp 21.5 oz. I appreciate your feedback now I'm super happy I bought it. Thanks again. Have a great evening...

We have a shelter logic up here in interior Alaska. We knock the snow off after each snow fall as our neighbors shelter logic collapsed under a heavy snow load. Winter of 2020-21 had a total snowfall of 91.3 inches
Did you ever make a video on how to remove the tapered pins from the quick attach plate that connects to the bucket or have some idea on how to get those tapered pins out?
@@Mprobo its the same pins that you had to remove when you remove that bushing from the quick attach plate or am I looking at some thing different all together. Thanks
I don’t recall if I hit the high flow button when I was running this video. But I likely did. I have mistakenly run it on standard flow when cutting 1” trees and brush and it got the job done, but with the high flow on it is a night and day difference in performance.
Ok. I have a standard flow skid with 24 GPM so trying to find the best brush cutter given that limitation. Have a bunch of 1-3” yuapon holly on my property that I’m trying to clear.
Tascaparts.com is where I purchased them after one attempt through Moparpart.com... just to caution Moparpart.com increased shipping cost upon shipment by about $160 because they “miscalculated the product dimensions in the system”... So I ordered it from Tascaparts.com instead and they did the exact same thing. Good luck with the project!
@@profittj1779 they sent an email seeking my approval to charge for the additional shipping, or cancel the order. It was eerily the same as what moparpart.com sent.
Wheels are 20x9 with a 0 offset, and tires are LT325/60R20 (approximately 35.5” tall) stock suspension, some rubbing, in wheel well, trimming needed. Here is the product info from custom offsets is: Wheels: American Force Idol SF F107 Partnumber: F107-2090-8x650-SF (option for no milled face, so wheels are full black, no chrome showing through) Tires are: BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 LT325/60R20 Part Number: BFG51810
Awesome video, thank you! I'm wanting to do the same thing to my 2020 ram 1500 limited with chrome grill. I'm in the process of placing an order soon with Dip Your Car and want to know how many cans of the aerosol spray do I need to (A) paint the center grill black and (B) paint the top and bottom pieces of the grill and around the headlight housing the factory OEM color?
Glad to hear it helps! If I recall, it may have been three cans for doing just the grill, I had someone paint the trim to match the body with OEM paint, however, I do have some chipping on the plastidip grill, leading me to believe that I should have just professionally painted the individual grill pieces while i had them removed. But the chips are barely noticable. Good luck!
I’m thinking a bottle jack wouldn’t work since it can’t function properly sideways, and I honestly couldn’t imagine a hockey puck handling the load, those bushings were definitely on there. But anything becomes an option in a moment of desperation, lol.
Wow! How didn't you break a leg or 2? My last fall like that resulted in both bones in my left leg broken and a broken wrist. (Still recovering today btw, it's only been a little under 2 months).... and it wasn't even on a double black, it was on a sheer ice field on an intermediate run at Wachusett. .. I'm a good skier, skied Devils fiddle dozens of times, as far back as when they still had the fiddle quad intact and operational. Your jump scared me, I thought you were going to get hurt for sure, good job saving yourself. I always avoid that cliff just to be safe. Call me boring but I'd rather stay in one piece so I can get more skiing in lol. Cheers.
Greg Golfomitsos. Yeah, I was lucky i didn’t break anything, but my knees were definitely loose for a while. I don’t plan to take risks like that anymore, lol.
What I did was probably a bad idea, but it worked for me. I also could not get the pins out to save my life, so I started using the machine without the bolts. Eventually the vibration loosened the tapered part of the pins and they just fell out.
