I have this same barn, going on over 10 years. Northern NY State. It is fully shaded in the Summer. The covers shrink over time and you need to to loosen it up after the first year and every few years after. You do not really want drum tight. Just no sagging. I usually bump the snow off from the inside with a wide push broom. But it eventually sheds snow if I do not get around to it. The biggest loading is on the sides from the snow that slides off the roof. The anchors need to stabilize horizontally also for this load. I also put ratcheting tie down straps between the "Ridge Tubes", sort of like rafters to prevent the sides from bulging with heavy snow loads. This has already won one battle with a fallen tree. Just had to get some special clear repair tape. Never use duct tape as that will leave residue that will never come off and will prevent a proper adhesive repair in the future. Duct tape also creeps and lets loose when warmed by the Sun.
We have a shelter logic up here in interior Alaska. We knock the snow off after each snow fall as our neighbors shelter logic collapsed under a heavy snow load. Winter of 2020-21 had a total snowfall of 91.3 inches
Looking to get the exact same shelter. I guess you have to remove the snow off it periodically? Is it worth it would you by it again. Thanks Mate Great work
I'm considering one for covering my camper I stay in when I'm working on my farm. Would it be reasonably possible to roll up one side 2/3 of the way? Thanks!!
Do you know whether or not one could just buy the separate framing pieces without purchasing a kit ? ( I need far less than what you've got here for the install.)

I haven’t removed any snow as of yet and it has held up just fine living in New York with a few very heavy storms. I have actually purchased two of them, so I would recommend buying it again! The assembly is daunting, but once it’s up, it’s worth it.
@@Mprobo Thanks alot I just ordered mine this mourning and got the ultra-duty tarp 21.5 oz. I appreciate your feedback now I'm super happy I bought it. Thanks again. Have a great evening...
