It is 100% plastic packaging foam. I'm not too worried about it getting wet, I cover it with a tarp to keep debris out, but wooden pallets line the pit below the foam, allowing for drainage out of the floating walls.

what kind of foam did you use and what about water getting in the pit do you have a drain system or just cover it
