an i ask i have a 2.0 tfsi bwa enigine i have upgraded the intercooler /decat straight thorugh miltec exhaught /ram air induction kit/vis hpfp/and the rs4 fuel return valve ...im about to map it but the mapper is saying the car is over fueling on idle could it be the rs4 return valve courseing my problem as some ppl say its not needed on a k03 turbo?i also have the 3 bar map sensor
Man I am doing this on my audi tt mk2 but I have so much regret of even beginning on this job cause a lot broke and the bolt on the cam doesnt get loose so I'm just fucked now
Hi!! What problems Have you got before changing the turbo? I ve got an Mk5 gti with oil consumption 1L- 3000km and a lot of oil in the entrance of intercooler. The car is running good, no smokes and not have extrange sounds from turbo. Is the turbo starting to death? Keep going with that videos!
Proper people always there to help just a call knowledge is in the knowing, nice yellow leon mk1 in the back ground, thanks for all the help and support from the team decimal tenths 💪💪
This video saved my day. No new bolt in my kit unfortunately so that'll be a call to vw on Monday. Some of the o-rings on a solenoid inside the casing disintegrated. Can you get them from vw too or do i have to use random ones out of an o-ring kit?
Hey fella, what vcds process did you go through to reset dsg? Is it adaptations? I've got a 2016 R with the 250, keen to hear what you recommend to do!
Yes pal, we reset all adaptation values. It's worth noting that we check them first and confirm them afterwards too as it can highlight issues in the boxes.
Your great Thanks mate i also found out that your on board computer disconnected itself from acc and driver accist. If anything wrong with engine so it sorted that as well
I WISH you didn't put TFSI. I watched someone else's significantly less thorough guide cos your video didn't show up in my search result Cos it's labeled TFSI. I did the job on my FSI just like this one, car started, idled, I got up the block when I lost drive and car wouldnt start. For some reason the crank and cam are out of sync, looks to be by literally 1 tooth. I'm able to crank the engine by hand so I don't think I have any bent valves(hoping I don't) and must now go back in the trench and pull it all apart to get the crank and cam shafts in time again(do you have a video for that as well?) FSI are really not that hard to work on, this job is really not incredibly difficult, but ugh.
Great watch just come across the channel after looking into replacing my timing chain and tensioner on my seat cupra. Hope you still upload good content.
what about the 5mm hole you drilled on the fuel pump i have done the same and my mapped is saying at idle the car is running rich but ive not told him ive drilled the 5mm larger hole ... whole it course this issue ?
@@DecimalTenths could the 02 sensors are faulty or could there be bigger injectors in there coz he is saying its running rich at idle like -27 should be +5 % ?
Hello! I have a vw golf 7 gti and since I bought it in the cold start I feel some hiccups it looks like ignition failures even heard in the exhaust I have already changed spark plugs and coils and it continues also does it in hot if it is in N or P will it be from the magnet cover?
@@DecimalTenths thanks for the reply but now I wanna cry 😂 To be fair though you did the best explanation and cleanest job I’ve seen done so I see why the price ain’t cheap Unlike some you know exactly what your doing 👍🏽
My "Cam. Adjustment intake bank 1" in group 91 is 43,1% at idle. Any ideas as to what could be the probem? Also the "Phase position bank 1 intake" in group 93 is -9 degrees. Just the chain or also the timing belt?
@@DecimalTenthsI ordered both the chain and the belt. Might as well change them. Do you think this will solve the cam adjustment or just the phase position?
This type of videos are pure gold for the diy guys like me. You sir are a saviour! I never ever comment the videos I watch but this time I really had to say THANK YOU!!! A GOOD drill bit and smashing over and over the T60 until got really stuck (and smashing my fingers a couple of times in the process 😅) and that bastard of a bolt didn't offer any resistance. Cheers! Keep up the good work!
the prick who built the motor without cleaning all parts is responsible not the media blasting+powder coating,it was the builder not cleaning+checking !.
Useful video - What is the size of the original Torx that broke ? Wera produce some "tight-fit" torx sockets that you can tap in to reduce the chance of any rounding off. Wera call them Torx with holding function, they work well.
