💭 Drake said F#ck yall heritage on a song, 🚩So that ninja has stole from brown artist his whole career, 🚩bought their jewelry, said he would melt it down, then said F yall heritage, 🚩Keeps referring to people as slaves, and his weak fraud butt is hanging out with known racist!...👎🏼
20:19 killed me for no reason😂 this beef had us all formal and scholarly. When he said, “but John here’s the thing” while in the most well mannered, fingers crossed, intellectual position😂 I fucking lost it
The comment from chat around the 22 minute is so far off. Each tracks telling a story, I haven't seen anyone miss that yet. Starting with slim returning and then saying his outlandish stuff trying to cancel marshal aka killing his career (death of slim shady) to then Marshall and slim going back and fourth. And Marshall coming to terms that he is just slim as uses him as a crutch. To them killing him. Then with eminem finishing the remaining tracks of the album with what would have happened if he hadn't stopped tracking drugs and co tinued down that path. And a song for after he is dead to listen to for his family
Also I don’t think I’d hear about Kendrick dropping an album if it weren’t for the beef with Drake. Before Like That I hadn’t heard anything about Kendrick for years. I remember thinking he must have retired or something
Kendrick’s album gotta be good to beat this. I personally have a hard time making it through a full Kendrick album. And majority of people definitely don’t dislike this album. Thats just the media and people who listen to the media. Not actual rap fans. Its pretty well received
2:02:02 THATS A GOOD QUESTION. Fuck I can’t lie dots doesn’t have the same replay value but even as a Drake fan that fully had me shook. Like I knew in that moment that Drakes life trajectory was changed. And that was within the same hour that Family Matters dropped which I was fired up about
It’s not about dissing gen Z! It’s about his internal battle with his invasive thoughts. Genuinely relatable for many of us. But yea part of it is that slim shady is a character who’s an antagonistic prick who loves crossing lines. You can say it’s immature for a 50 year old but consider the trauma he’s spent so many years abusing drugs to avoid facing, and since he’s gotten sober he’s been processing it all finally. So a lot of his past is evidently coming up still. People are fast to judge but not so fast to show compassion. I can’t speak for all Stan’s but I think many can relate when I say; we came for the talent, but stayed for the raw unfiltered and transparent self expression that is so brutally honest that it speaks to people so deeply. The song Deja Vu is a good example of his transparency with his deep dark thoughts. You could easily see how a song like that could change a life
