Unless Drake has something new we don't know about, Kendrick's DV allegations are close to a decade old and were debunked back then, so unless he comes back with some receipts I dunno where he was going with that.

As someone who is a hip-hop fan, but I was also around and much younger with the 2Pac biggies situation. I’m 52. I’m so grateful that both of you young men have explained the dangers of rap beef. I have been all involved like everybody has been really exciting and what a time to be alive howeverit has turned very scary and dark. It has moved from a rap beef to someone shining the light on the record business. We’ve been hearing about this for years. Drake is not the only one Norris Kendrick. Hopefully will look deeper than the rat beef to make changes.

Most channels only highlight the daughter part (which drake was using as a recruiting angle as well as a lie) but that is one least damning allegations from this track. It's not just kids either, it's many women too which is still very bad *Long response incoming* Also to Jonno's question at the end about the experience listening to this, when I saw both drops from Friday my heart actually stopped because I knew it got bad. I decided to listen to Drake's because I knew I wouldn't go after listening to Kendrick and it was a snooze for me as well as being weird (he brought up so many unnecessary names and literally said there's big d with video proof then talked about him and kdots son which was hella gross). I put earbuds in before starting and when I heard Adonis name my heart stopped again especially at the mention of escorting. When he said his mom's name I had to sit down because I knew dark stuff was coming. I did expect SA, SA with minors/pdf stuff, and even potentially more kids though drake was so quick to say he did have an 11yo 🙄 I did not expect the trafficking/tinder allegations nor how heavy this track would hit especially with Adonis being around ovo. I'm almost 30 and have had uneasy feelings about drake since I was 16 because of some of his lyrics. As I got older I thought he was an inauthentic hang on (in music, with women, in the culture) and did like some songs but for the most part did not care for him.
