Here is a stress relief tip from a Gen X bar exam taker. If there is a lunch break during the exam sessions, you mayl hear people talking about their answers to particular questions. You might ask yourself whether they are taking the same exam as you are. Tune it out and rely on your comfidece
Unlike VA , MD is a UBE jurisdiction Your disciplined, laser focused study schedule will certainly get you through the Bar Exam. Rosie will attend your swearing-in ceremony!
Rosie will help you study. My two cats helped me study by knocking over pens, pads and other necessities. Remind Rosie that she cannot walk or sleep on your laptop keyboard. With tnis in mind, you will pass the Bar and Rosie will stand next to you when you are sworn in.
You are very lucky Md adopted the UBE. I am a Gen X Guy who struggled with the old format NY Bar Exam which required you to study 25 subjects. It has since been replaced by the UBE and the rate of alcoholism among recent law grads has dropped to near zero.
Hi Kait…I’m so happy you made it to Maryland!!!!!!! I live in Glen Burnie Maryland…after you finish taking the Bar maybe we can meet up for coffee or lunch👍🏾. I studied for the Virginia Bar with BarBri bar prep as well…best bar prep hands down. Your apartment is super cute 🥰 I’m currently job hunting and doing tons of interviews…got sworn in as a new attorney for the Commonwealth of Virginia👍🏾. So I will more thank likely move from Maryland to Virginia and have a new job by the Fall. Great vlog as always Kait, take care of yourself and God bless😊
Thank you for this comforting video. I also just moved to a different state, and struggle a bit as I am about to start law school this summer. I love your videos they are super helpful!
I will be a 1L in the fall 🎉 thank you for these tips! I'm also super easily distracted by a laptop- thats one of the reasons Im going to give handwritten notes a try. That's what I did all through undergrad and it served me well! 😊
I am applying to law school in the fall, did you enjoy your time at UK law? Just wondering about the atmosphere, work/life balance, etc? <3 Also congrats on graduating!!
I found your channel a few months ago and I’m so happy I did! I am starting law school this fall and I’m very nervous. Going to watch all your vids from 1L to get in the right head space.
I’m from Europe so the law education is totally different - five years of sweat and tears but I have my last exam next week and I can’t wait. I’ve loved following your law school journey and enjoyed the insight to the US system so I’d be happy to see you continue your career and share it with us 🫶🏼 All the best to you! Xx
