The news and my daughter’s death has definitely got me down…so I’m in the same boat, missing classes, bombing cold calls, and just being zombie like through my 3L spring semester 👎🏾💔😪

Congratulations on almost being done and for accepting a job! Two things that made me laugh as a person living in New England: your excitement for Olive Garden and your thinking Maryland is in the Northeast. Not clowning on you, but it is funny to see how perceptions of things differ in other parts of the country.

Hi Kait!!!! Can you believe we’re almost DONE!!!!! My last day of 3L classes is April 30th and I start final exams first week of May👍🏾. I have only 2 final exams…I worked the Federal Legislation Law Clinic on Capitol Hill in D.C. which earned me 10 credits. Also as a 3L the state of Virginia let us take the Bar in February…so I did bar prep after fall finals, I used BarBri. Next week Bar results will be released, so I’m praying I passed. Congratulations on your job in Maryland…I happen to live in Glen Burnie, MD. Hopefully we can meet for lunch or coffee before I move to Virginia to work for State Attorney General office. My daughter will be awarded her Bachelor of Science degree posthumously in California on the same day as my law school graduation…so I will be skipping my ceremony to proudly accept my baby girl’s degree on her behalf, my law school Dean is all for it. He told me you’re automatically a lawyer at the moment of graduation whether you’re at the ceremony or not!!! Wishing the best of luck on finals study, final exams, graduation, bar prep, and taking the July Bar👍🏾😊🎓⚖️
