This bug is persistent and is still present in release 3.24+ (incl. latest hotfix). Tickets can be viewed at the issue-council but solutions seem to be rare. Much to my regret your work-around didn't help. Thanks for posting tho
@@RiDaj meanwhile my ticket has been confirmed, which is good news, except that (i assume) developers tried to point out that the bug was already reported. Like there remark came across like they were a bit agitated... All nice and dandy but how come this bug is still present than? Guess we'll have to wait it out?! Till then this game is useless to me since i can't retrieve Any ship.
I was so puzzled even after watching other videos, this is the only video I've seen with a clear view of the mechanism that holds the shell in. Thank you.
Thank you!!! I've been cracking an egg into my stove-top cooked ramen for a couple of years now, and I'm about to try using this in the microwave. I wanted to know if I could just crack an egg into this thing like I usually do, and you not only answered the question, but gave me a good timeframe for when to do so. :)
Does this still work today, I am in the 4th day that I cannot claim my ship and I've done everything also 2 times character repair! I'll try it late anyhow! UPDATE - Didnt work for me!
this avoids unnecessarily loading your chamber and also saves a bit of wear on the brass. Say you’re hunting with some nice expensive sabot rounds and you load/unload it every day, or maybe you took the advice from your father and unload the gun before climbing over a rock or fallen tree to get to your spot. Wouldn’t want to chew the brass up so much that you worry about extraction. It’s also quiet and smooth.
Wears on the ejector bud. Bad idea. That's why it's not marketed to eject the shells or spent rounds that way . Your gun and it's a free country but spreading misinformation that causes damage to your gun is a bad look.just blunt honesty. Call Mossberg and ask em if you think I'm lying
@@DW133_ wore the piss outta 2 this way but I'm sure they love selling replacements parts. I have no reason to unload it after I load it. I've also learned that. It has a safety so it's perfectly fine loaded to me and in my home or transporting it.
@@DW133_ can't say I've ever dropped a rifle shotgun or pistol bud so I didn't nt care if it is honestly. That's not a deal breaker for me. That's a simple fix with any firearm.
We don't need to call Mossberg because they uploaded this video themselves, where they tell you to unload it exactly the way he did it, by pressing the cartridge stop. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3_ufCUSZ27s.html surely nothing about this process even involves the ejector so why would it cause wear on it?
I have a Mossberg as well....never been outta breath, loading it, unloading it, or firing it for that matter...seek medical attention...😬....P.S...its not a "round"....tis a shell 🐚...😁
This same technique can be done on Remington shotguns. Use the shell retainer spring on the opposite side. You can do this on all Benelli and Beretta shotguns. Even on the Ithaca model #37. Ithaca shotguns do not have a side ejection port. Everything goes in or out of the bottom loading port. Don't know which side, right or left. Just press on the shell retainer spring. This is far safer than running the shell through the chamber.
My biggest question is how do you have so many scratches at the bottom😭 I've had one for over a year and it doesn't have even one scratch it's like you were trying to eat the bowl😭😂
