When they finally introduce the weight categories?? Great video great battles but dude like I mean... Hristov is half the size of Daniles in terms of size and height... like why are they competing?
The level that Laizans is, there is not many in his category and it could not fill a whole tournament for them. We could introduce battle cards meaning like boxing. Without tournament
@@DanielFlefil Got it because like dude it really is unfair mechanically the mass leverage... If it will continue like this It's pointless for him to compete because he won't winn number one spot. All the talk who is the best like well Daniels in my opinion because of the height and weight what he can do.
@matejpilc6979 Hristov is the best due to his skills. Not his height and weight. If that was the only factor many more could be close to Hristov but they are not
@@DanielFlefil thats a lot of work brother i respect that u keep staying active and posting 3 times per week , i just kinda wanna see u react to those athletes and battles ;P
Hristov always looks like he is not useing 100% of his power in statics. This just makes what he is doing more clean and impressive. Hope he can recover and do a comeback. He is still the best athlete ever in hour sport. No one beat his SWUB 5 level yet.
@@yaroslavnosa4510 they have done 1 podcast and a couple videos together. Daniel flefil trains with Simon imhausers who is also Swedish . And Hristov trains in the “legendary gym” with kamenov, Nedko etc
Training might be even beneficial for your exams. It’s not only getting a new stimulus, which you can be proud of, it’s also about letting pressure&overthinking wich is involved I such situations go. So maybe investing 1h a day gets you more then it takes💪🏻.
A major problem with these events is that the athletes are extremely fatigued by the time they reach the finals from previous battles. Or they need to conserve their strength in earlier battles. We rarely see them at their best because of the format. It also looks "rushed" because of the time limit. I'm shocked that after many years, Calisthenics has stuck with this failing model.
1:49 its still a hefesto to touch pretty much cause of the supi grip just cause he isn't finishing the whole movement after doesn't mean it's a back lever pull up cause imo back lever pull up is with pronated grip and are way easier
Agreed, he did the hardest part, the other part after is just shifting your weight over the bar. So I also think it counts as a back lever hefesto just no korean dip after which is easy
The score should never be able to be 2-2 imo. Why not merge power dynamics and statics together so there never would be a draw. Or maybe remove all categories and only have a simple points system for everything Idk I just feel like something is missing but I guess it's hard to have a perfect points system when freestyle and ie planche pu are completely different
@@TC-uk7pm i think it's logical to merge statics and power dynamics into the same category because you have to train exactly the same way to achieve them. A planche hold is different from a planche push up just like a front lever pull up is different from a planche push up. So why are they in different categories. It's just different muscles but you have workout in the same way to get them
@@isapan2008 I agree. In a battle, if a competitor does a Pelican, Van Gelder, Caruso and overall complex power dynamics but doesn't hold anything for 2 seconds, and someone does a bunch of planche and front lever holds, do you think they should be worth the same when it comes to the outcome of the battle? Because in that scenario, one athlete would claim power dynamics and the other would claim statics. That doesn't really sit well with me. At the end of the day, power is power and at the very least with one static category, only that is assessed
I think that it actually was on the right side. look at the grip on the parallettes after the rotation, on the left its what you normally see being done, but on the right its a weird supi grip..
Scarxlus is one of my fav athletes rn, he brings a level of creativity and uniqueness to his rounds while also being one of the strongest maltese athletes in the world
Gornation should do special merch for big events. Imagine T-Shirts with the vector shape of some Athletes. Or for example 2025 SWUB Special t Shirt with the names of the athletes in the back and cool design in the front. Idk just ideas to promote and support the Sport.
I've got a good few points I want to bring up about the video: 1. For 4:15, I tend to disagree. I can see what he was thinking as he was just adapting to his competitor. Gusta is the type of athlete who tends to really go for static holds so San Gohan conceding in that category and opting to do more power moves is a way of trying to win the powermoves category. Time spent holding skills is time taken away from doing more powermoves. Ultimately it didn't pay off because his skills weren't clean but I could see his intent. It would have been nice after all of the powermoves for him to have held the planche for the sake of the combo 2. At 7:15, you see it as wasting energy but honestly I think that's open to interpretation because Gusta's clear intention at the 2nd planche hold was to highlight how easy the combo was but also how dominant he was compared to San Gohan when it came to holding skills. Yes, it was a risk that ultimately didn't pay off because his pushups after weren't clean but it was nice to have that sense of competitive spirit in battles
