In my opinion, hristov is the greatest athlete during this period and he is evolving the sport into a higher lvl BUT I think that sadly he got this far in a wrong period. This is a dry period for calisthenics with low view counts, hype, content.. I have been following the scene since 2018 and now I don't always get the feeling it's 'Street Workout'. Why would u choose a system with points where there are no 1v1 battles? this gets the most hype. Lets take SWUB, ultimate battles, fibo.. They are well organized but most important, they actually bring the feeling of STREET workout with 1v1 battles, a podium for the athletes to do crazy skills and on the other side just people sitting enjoying and screaming. This is what competitions should be like in Street workout job well done for SWUB aswell. I wish Daniel the best and I hope our sport won't fall further.

Well it's up to all the athletes to bring the "hype"... it's up to all the people involved into Calisthenics. I understand your POV, but different comps have different rules. WSWCF have a lot to improve of many things that they are missing in my opinion. thanks for sharing!

not really. I just hope any time right now that street workout scene would come back again and people would see daniel as one of the greatest. His style is just different.

Hristov is simply the smartest and hard working person I know he is really built different and this interview shows it. 57:15 When Hristov says you can't judge style does he include the 'creativity' criteria in judging systems? I personally feel with that criteria being in competitions, it encourages more diverse performances with many different skills instead of a few common ones

yeah it might. But also, creativity is based on what one an another feels is creative. That leads it to, that we base judging on emotions or opinions

@@DanielFlefil Interesting, i never saw gymnasts or top level athletes in this sport higher than 1,70. Only a bunch of people higher than that can do this type of stuff.
