I still don’t think Silena was a good person. Only when it was her *boyfriend* that was killed she took action. She made a big mistake and tried to fix it that doesn’t undo the damage she caused, especially towards her siblings that had most likely looked up to her until that point.

Luke is a strong case. He had a backstory of why he did this. He’s actually better than most Greek heroes, who were mostly creeps and cheaters. He didn’t really kill people. That was only when Kronos used his body. Also, Rick did answer something about Luke on Goodreads. Question: Hi Rick! I have more of a philosophical question for you. A major dispute in the fandom is whether Luke Castellan was a hero (not just in the prophecy sense) at the end of the The Last Olympian, and whether he deserved to be redeemed after everything he did over the course of the series. I'm curious about what your thoughts are on this and what your intention was as the author. Do you think Luke is/was redeemable? Rick’s answer: I think everyone is redeemable. That's what makes it so tragic when they chose not to accept redemption. That sounded religious, but I don't mean it in that way. I just mean we all make choices, and often we choose the paths that are most destructive for ourselves and others. As for Luke himself, I think maybe he will get redemption in a following lifetime -- at least I hope the judges of the dead will decide that!
I was surprised to see anyone disliking her decision at all because I read the books and didn't interact with the fandom online, I only really checked out the occasional fanart and fanfic. Bianca has already watched over him for years and was finally able to have her own life. She ensured that Nico was safely at CHB where he could be trained and surrounded by other demigods and people at camp, so plenty of company and fun, busy routines. With the Hunters of Artemis, she could be a kid and be her own person again while traveling with big sisters who can teach and guide her for a change. I fully understood and supported her decision, and always wondered what she would've grown into if she hadn't died so soon. For example, seeing her unlock her daughter of death/underworld powers like Nico, and possibly any new ones, like the way Jason could fly and Thalia never wanted to. I mean people lead busy, independent lives apart from their siblings all the time, but still stay in touch and visit when they can. Why can't she do the same thing? Weirdd I think that some readers only focused on Nico's hurt feelings about seeing Bianca much less because he's a fan favorite character and so jumped on criticizing her, rather than try to see her perspective on her own life decisions *sigh*. So anyway yeah I agree with you Fran, Team Bianca💯
Want to talk about what Percy and Thalia think of Biancas decision as we know that Percys fatal flaw is his loyalty so of course in his mind leaving Nico is the wrong choice as he could never think of leaving some one he loves ever if it hurts him (Tartarus) and as for Thalia we see in the lost hero that she wants a little brother and ran away only because of Jason so seeing Bianca leave Nico where she didn’t have a choice to see him again would break her heart, she knows how little the Hunters come to camp how little she’ll actually see Nico when she just missed Jason and thinks she can never see him again.
He only become stronger because he got the blessing of Mars, and Mars is strong. He probably gets more confidence because many fat people think they aren't good enough. Also, it doesn’t really describe that he is that fat. It just describes that he is big like a sumo wrestler. And yes, fat people do get bullied a lot. Leo does bully him, yet Leo still cares for him. Friends always bully eachother, cause when we look back, we will say "Damn... such good memories." Besides, if he does get more confident in fighting without getting muscular, he'll get muscular from all the fighting. Edit: Aslo Jason probably gave Frank the role of praetor because Jason alrwady knows Frank would've done good. I think sometimes people, even leaders, need a little friendship and help to become great at strategy and leadership.
It’s only playful teasing if the other person isn’t hurt by it. Frank has his clothes stolen, is hurt and embarrassed by the finger trap situation. Annabeth and Percy have a different dynamic.
@@AHealthyDoseofFran Well, Leo had a terrible childhood. Also, Leo at least cares for his friends and his friends probably will look back on the teasing as good memories of bonding. Friends tease each other all the time, even when the other one is hurt by it, because they know it's just jokes. Though, I do respect your opinion since there are a bunch of FREAKS out there that say Annabeth is abusive to Percy, which is bull. Not trying to start fights.
@@AHealthyDoseofFran Also calling Frank big doesn't necessarily mean he's calling him fat. Frank could be just born a buff or chunky boy (Chunky doesn't always mean fat). Besides, Leo first said that he would never say something mean to Frank out loud (Don't say something if it's not nice). Not to mention Frank calls Leo weak and also teases him too (FRIEND TEASING WAR! WOOOOHOOO!) Also, not to mention Frank had a good childhood. Never bullied and lived in a mansion. Leo isn't perfect, (none of the demigods are) but he isn't the worst character (*cough* Drew Tanaka...). As stated before, friends always bully each other. Besides, we are talking about teenagers. Teenagers always bully and tease there friends. Most of the stuff Leo said was justified. Everybody makes mistakes, including the other demigods. He's a teenage boy and nobody should take everything he says as entirely malicious - Adult Leo will probably be more mature anyways. Blood Of Olympus doesn't take place between years, this time it's between months and days, which means Leo is still only 16 during every book, which means he still has time to improve. Improvement doesn't take days, heck it may take more than a decade. Still, I do respect your opinions.

thinking about Jason entire life to be honest. both sad and frustrated. He never realized that his whole life has been decided for him. His mother and father gave him up to Zeus wife separate from his mother and sister robbed years that he’ll never get back. Every decision he made was pointless because all his hard work was undone, confused tricked into thinking the girl that he loved wasn’t really the girl that he loved at all and then he died never having a chance to live his own life.
If Jason does end up in Valhalla, he might be able to see his sister and Reyna again Jason will be immortal, so will his sister so they can see each other again and maybe a century make a book or a small story of the hunters.
I am a big Bianca hater, so let's see if this is convincing. so, with the lotus casino, it was a long time, but they wouldn't have felt it, and they would forget everything very quickly. they also would've acted irresponsible, and irrational, they would be doing whatever they wanted, and she probably didn't feel the need to take care of Nico. so anything that happened there shouldn't count, because they were probably unaware of it, and she probably wasn't working too hard to take care of him. knowing where he is doesn't make it less of abandonment. has she seen this place before? does she know percy? he saved her life, but that doesn't mean he's a good person, he was there for a mission, it doesn't mean he'd do the same for Nico again.nd it doesn't matter if she's known percy and Thalia all her life, because he is HER brother, and even if he's safe, he wants his sister, and I feel like that's what caused a lot of his emotional struggle throughout the series.she can find him a safe place and stay with him, that works.you mention they are children, but living with the responsibility all her life would've meant she had to grow up faster, she wasn't at the stage when you could do this and justify it by being a child. I understand, I really do, but if she's so responsible, she shouldn't just be allowed to be selfish, because she's meant to be the mature one. I know she shouldn't have to be, but she is, and this is how life works, she doesn't have an excuse, because she's basically a parental figure, and when you have children, you need to take care of them, even if it means you don't get something you want. besides, the only thing the hunters cn give her that camp can't, is immortality. there are multiple characters who gave up immortality for their loved ones, so it's not like this is a new concept. she should've been able to. I personally would choose my sister over immortality.there are other characters who are selfish, but do they leave people, knowing that they are the only kind of family the person has. at least in pjo, no one does that. I haven't read all of hoo yet, so forgive me if I make mistakes with that kind of thing. nd that's the thing, she is doing it to "help" herself, but I don't see what she gains, and I don't see how any of that compares to having nico. I agree, she needs independence, but sometimes, there is a right decision, and a wrong decision, she chose the wrong one. I really, truly agree with you on most of this, but that isn't enough to justify it. I do feel sorry for her, but Nico probably had it worse. she was also very rude to Nico in general.
I’ll be here for any content you make! I have seen a definite downgrade in the most vocal part of the fanbase, and it genuinely saddens me so so much. It seems like there’s a rise in negativity and hate in so many fandoms recently. I hope you focus on yourself and heal, Fran!
