Since the age of three, Gabby has been a long-distance rail enthusiast. As a toddler, she rode her first-ever train from New York City to Savannah, Georgia. To this day, she relishes the sound of a train horn and loves films in which a train is a character in the narrative (Hitch, anyone?). Thank you, Dave. Respiratory exacerbation has me at home today. As I lie still, I'm weeping as I watch my own video.🫣 The birdie was so sweet to allow me those moments in time. Yesterday as I filmed it, I didn't tear up because I was engaged in capturing this blessed creature's image and sprightly movements. But presently, my God, I've got a lump in my throat the size of Texas and tears are streaming down my face.🥹
Seems so; I've never been inside the café. I dined once at the Roman Nose--very good organic pizza-plus. I had a personal-size rapini pizza there. Thanks for watching this one.☺️❤
@@P.BrocklehurstHe seemed so when I left for work.🫤 At least he didn't leave me a "present" like last night, when I stepped inside and into ... y'know. But I love my furry baby.😻
@@gabrielapaulinho1luv If it does branch out to where I live, I'll definitely give them a try. We've started having Taco Bell and Popeye's Chicken chains open in the UK recently. Two Boots could be next 😊
Riiiight?!?! To cover my tabletop of Cleopatra Jones' image with that huge pizza box felt like ... "Sacrilege!"➡️ That's the only quote that I remember from director John Badham's Dracula film (1979), starring the sexiest Count since Christopher Lee: Frank Langella. When I used to take samba lessons, my partner was a middle-aged-Langella doppelgänger. He actually chose *me* as his dance partner. As soon as the drums would commence, "Frank" would present his fiery palm to me, and I would stand and slap mine against his.😵 There were, like, little electrical charges upon contact. Then our hips would just obey the rhythms. Oh! That was the best dance partnership I had ever experienced in a class setting, up 'til that point in my life anyway. However, I digress ... lol ... Just sitting and looking around this pizzeria is a vibe. Excellent interior design. Thanks for viewing.😊
OMG! Dan, wow, y'all rocked that plaza!❤❤❤❤❤❤ You're welcome, and it truly was my pleasure to cover what I could -- as I was en route to returning home from my workplace and an errand near there. I exited the bus, heard your band's groove, and walked straight to the scene of the sublime! "No going home right now," I said to myself Friday evening. Like everyone -- young and older -- I enjoyed every note, every lyric and every cool ounce of Forget the Whale's high-energy moves onstage. Fun, fun, FUN! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥😊
What a kind and super-cool comment--thank you!😀🫶🏻 I'm so happy that you stayed to view and listen to the whole concert video. Forget the Whale gave us audience members and Downtown JC residents an unforgettable evening. Here's wishing you a great day!🙌🏼
That was really nice coverage. I enjoyed what I saw and heard. Very pleasant music, vocals and energy on stage. I look forward to seeing more in the second part ☺️
I'm happy that you really enjoyed Forget the Whale's show. I forgot to check whether I was still recording -- I lost about 20 min., including some rather terrific ska.😟😢😭
@@P.BrocklehurstYeah, damn it, they played that deep-in-the-soul, make-ya-wanna-dip&skip ska. And I learned how to zoom during those lost minutes, so the lively close-ups are gone, too. I had zoomed in on the leads' kicking around in their pink pants and black boots, and on the drummer. Oh, well-hell ... While I have all of the exquisite memories to savor, I sure would've loved sharing. Thank you for viewing and commenting on both vids. Ti auguro una bella giornata.☺️❤
@@gabrielapaulinho1luv It's a pity that the footage is lost, but I'm glad you had fun and hearing about it is just as nice 😊 Prego. Auguro anche a te una bellissima giornata 😊❤️
Heyyy, Christine, thanks! Yeah, this band (they call themselves Quality Living) really loves to engage with their audience. And me too, I enjoy watching bandmembers play their instruments.😃 I also like to watch instrumentalists go through a range of emotional facial expressions, showing how much they're getting into a groove. During this perfornance, I got a kick out of watching the guitarist to the far right (from the stage's perspective, the far left) jumping around to the song's rhythms and every now and then extending his leg. Meanwhile, the bearded guitarist to our far left was quite animated -- ooohhh, I just loooove that! He was the bandmember who joked the most with us audience members. At the moment when he got close to his mic and said, in a deep, booming voice, to let the storm come, I had a feeling that the universe was listening. Sure enough, Mother Nature sent a downpour about a half-hour later. Thanks again for appreciating Quality Living! I'd definitely watch them perform again whenever seeing their name on a concert roster in Northern New Jersey or in New York City -- as long as public transportation can get me there and the show doesn't end too late at night. By the way, I'm a non-driver. The last time I was behind the wheel of a car was during driving lessons. At the end of my second morning of lessons, the driving instructor placed his hand on my left knee. I was 20 years old. I promptly removed his hand and told him: "No more driving lessons." Back then, all of the driving instructors in my suburban town were men. So instead of chancing that another instructor would get fresh with me, I decided that I wouldn't learn how to drive. Within a year I moved to an urban part of New York City, where there were lots of subway stations ... and no parking spots. There aren't many places to park in my current neighborhood, so there really hasn't been encouragement for residents (those whose apartment buildings and condo complexes don't have parking garages) to own cars.😏 Have a super day, Christine!🌝!🤗
Thanks so much. 🤩Elated that I made a video you find enchanting, and to one of your favourite songs! Look at that: I typed the British spelling. I wish you a lovely day.☺️❤
@OUTNABOUTwithYoursTrulyLIZZOC Thanks for asking and for any tips you can and may provide.🙂.🫶🏻 A Samsung android, A32 5G (Model No.: SM-A326U). I also check each video under "Manage Videos" for new replies. Thanks very much if and when (of course, at your convenience) you're able to help me with my inability to activate zoom (in and out) in video mode. I know only how to zoom in/out in photo mode. Go figure.🤷🏽♀️😔
You're so kind! Splendid indeed it was. I felt like the young woman in Joe Jackson's "Steppin' Out": "You, babe, steppin' ouuuut. Into the night, into the light." Mesmerizing experience. Merci beaucoup!☺️❤️
A wonderful piece of ASMR, very soothing. One can easily put themselves on that bench and imagine just watching the buildings around them while taking in the beautiful atmosphere 😊❤️
Really happy that you enjoyed the ASMR-- cool, cool. I kept hoping that someone would sit on the bench in front of me so that I wouldn't feel so alone. Insecurity was setting in. ... But now, reading your comment, I understand how the empty bench invites viewers to imagine themselves taking a scenic respite there. That's so chill. Grazie.☺️❤
Beautiful video. The peaceful cloudy sky above and lively sounds of city life below create a fascinating juxtaposition. Definitely proof that there's seldom a dull moment in the city 🏙️🌆😊❤️
Ohhh, I appreciate your sublime compliment about my video. Truly an evening for inspiration of the creative kind, and I welcomed the refreshing drizzle in the sticky heat.🌡Thank you for making the effort feel worthwhile.😊❤
You're welcome, and your comment means a lot to me.😊 I've been in awe when you present Toronto's amazing street art on your cool RU-vid channel, so I've learned to slow down in my town and capture what I can when I can and where it's safe to do it.😉
Heyyy, thank you for your comment. I'd been inspired several hours earlier to capture sunset in three phases -- amounting to a summer sunset suite. Thanks for watching.🙌🏼
My pleasure--thank you.😊 What do you think about the ethics of the lady's speech piping up in the video? Should I have stopped recording? If I doze off for my nap, I'll come back here to read your response ... that is, if you want to respond.
@@gabrielapaulinho1luv It happens and it adds to the realism of the video. Of course, if things got too personal or a fight broke out, etc, I'd understand cutting and filming when it's all over. But a normal conversation is charming.
@@P.BrocklehurstThanks for responding on the ethics of this video. It was well-worth toothpicking my eyelids to learn that this video has charm *and* realism. Cool! ☺️❤️
Oh wow! Thank you for liking this video experiment the way you did. Coming from you, with your gifts of visual storytelling, directing and technical aspects of filmmaking, and superb writing, I feel honored.☺️❤ Funny what can happen when one isn't feeling well and decides to sit it out for a while. After work I needed to decompress, too. I sat there with my eyes closed behind my shades. Soon, an early-evening breeze started to cool the air, I removed my sunglasses and ...💡... voilà ... Even when one's body needs brief rest, one's creative mind doesn't quit. ✨️Merci encore, et bon week-end.✨️
@@gabrielapaulinho1luv You flatter me, I just try and make the best I can with what I can 😊❤️ Inspiration can come at any moment, even when you're not planning to be creative and just want to unwind. I hope you're feeling better too. I wish you a nice weekend to relax 😊❤️
@@P.Brocklehurst Thank you so much. I'm in bed now with kitty by my side -- he may feel like it's a headlock situation. lol ... But yeah, I'm going to rest up today so that I can feel much better. Many thanks for your kindness -- to use your words, "balm for [my] soul."😊❤
Oh man, gee, thanks for your kindness, your humanity. And hey, somewhere out there, or here -- in my town -- I've been part of urban tableaux that other people (whether or not they're artists) have captured in videos. Have a pleasant evening.🙋🏽♀️

A beautiful experience to be one with nature. You can feel the rapture in the camera movements and the seduction from the sway of the branches. A perfect visual companion to your short story 😊💚
Thank you so much. I'm happy that the video is meaningful and enjoyable, and that it complements my short story. Nature provided the element of surprise amidst intolerable heat, and insomnia enabled the prose to flow. Grazie mille.☺️💚
Thank you, Christine!🌸 A professional photographer captured this beautiful sunrise in Thailand, and I found the image on a cool website (the link is in the description). I'm gonna capture a sunrise someday, hopefully sooner rather than later.😉
