God just being fair to others since he is mentally strongest (just imagine if he was physically strongest too...ohhh the terror in the NCT universe would be real😂)
He sounds native when he speaks at times but then at other times, he sounds like he’s more fluent in mandarin. As an ABC who speaks Cantonese at home, I feel like I speak better than him and I’ve been living in another country for longer than he has in Korea. I also barely speak Cantonese too but I don’t think I would forget it since I’ve been speaking it since I was a toddler
0:04 Mandarin: "大家好哈哈" - "Hello everybody haha" Mandarin: "我是。- “I am" Mandarin: "哦我说了什么啊?- "oh what did I say? Mandarin: "哦我呃哦呃哦。。- "oh I eh uh eh oh.." Cantonese: "希,希望大家我啊,希望大家多多支持我哋非常之。- "hope, hope everybody I ah, hope you all support us a lot." Mandarin: “就是啊.” - "it's ah" Cantonese: ”加油!- means "COME ON" but in an encouraging or supportive way. English: "Yay!" ROFL, how it feels to be bilingual with Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Lucas is from Hong Kong, so basically his Cantonese should be native, and hendery is from Macau, XJ is from Guangdong, but then three places speaks Cantonese but three Cantonese sounds a little bit different. Like a lot of ppl in guangdong now don’t know Cantonese and Macau and Hk are mixed with different ppl not only their own language so they sound slightly different, there is no such thing as not native
