Collector of vintage baseball cards and Wade Boggs cards and memorabilia. I am one of the largest Wade Boggs super collectors in the country. I'm also building a collection of PSA vintage baseball cards of Hall of Famers. I'm also working on building a 1978 Topps baseball set as that was the first year I started collecting. I also collect Topps short print image variation cards of baseball Hall of Famers.
In addition to showing off the latest additions to my collection, I'll be showing videos of my other baseball cards, providing hobby thoughts and information, and occasionally opening packs.
You knocked it out of the park, congrats Great to follow your journey to the National. John, who did you use to do your custom cards, topps stopped doing them. Appreciate it
Man those are really beautiful cards and I'm glad I got to hear the stories and see them in person! Squirrel card, haha! Really enjoyed hanging out with you bud, and thanks again for the ride!
Hi John, great stuff. I look forward to your final video. Thanks for all your help with me on Friday and Saturday, and for all the hanging out we did prior to those two days. Talk soon my friend.
Video like given! Awesome that you get to see you idol every year! I heard rumors during his playing days that he was very superstitious and ate chicken before every game? Do you know the story? and Have you ever asked him about it? If true, I wonder if he still does.....lol enjoyed the video and your meeting 👍👍until next time, have a great day ✌out
Hi John. Thanks for all your help on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. It was a wonderful time spending it with you in the show, as that support was very helpful. That 71 Banks was really a beauty. All your pickups were super sharp cards. Talk soon my friend.
It was a pleasure, my friend! I had a wonderful time hanging out with you. Looking forward to doing it again! I'm so happy you were able to pick up some of those Jackie items!
Glad you are having a good time at the National, John and you have been successful in obtaining some cards that you had on your list. All the best on Day 5.
Like given! Wow! That Banks and Rose both look under graded from where I'm sitting. All the cards you picked up present so well, eye appeal is amazing on them. Awesome and happy for you that you are having such a great National. Time to relax now...lol Thanks for sharing your experience there with us 👍👍Have a great day John ✌out
Thanks Andy! I do tend to be very picky with my vintage pickups. They need to be in a grade that is affordable to me, yet present well. Not always easy to find 3s, 4s, or 5s with good centering. But when you do they look great. The hunt is part of the fun. 😃
Yes they did. The Williams was probably my big pickup of the day because it was in a higher grade and had better overall eye appeal than the Aaron. But I love them both.
