Hi Dawn, the quality of your filming is excellent- I really enjoyed the show and it was great to see your layout and appreciate the details of this original concept. Finally can I say a big thank you to the 0 gauge society for their time in sharing tips on how to get started in this gauge.
Hi Alan, think you have the wrong channel, though Dawn Quests layout does feature in this video. Glad you enjoyed my coverage of the show and all the best with your O gauge venture. Callum
Sometimes I find that these Model Exhibitions are so good - that you have too look twice to make sure it is just a Model & not the real thing!!! From your views - if you just have a quick look - you could mistake them for the real thing I find cos they are that good!!! Thanks for showing!!!🙂🚂🚂🚂
Many thanks indeed and glad you enjoyed the coverage. I try my best to get them from vantage point, not to disimilar to how you would view the trains if full size. Really does make a huge difference :) Once again many thanks!
Hi John. Glad you enjoyed the coverage. Currently the plan is very much to scale things back. 2024 has not been a kind year so far to say the least, and has put a number of things into prospective. Will just have to see how things go
Hey looks Like I'm the 1st to comment!!! - It was nice to see that there were no Diesels at the End of Stream Trains - I don't like it when they do that!!! 😉🚂🚂🚂
@@SDJR7F88 They are only demonstration layouts which are permanently there and have been for at least 5 years as they are the same ones that I saw the last time I visited that area. It's not my idea of a model railway exhibition and I wouldn't have thought it is what most people would call a model railway exhibition, it's more of an attraction rather an exhibition.
@@SDJR7F88 Yes, I'm rather fond of small-scale/"micro layouts". As you said, theres a lot of operational potential, even in a small space, and I think micro layouts can be just as interesting as larger-scale layouts.
@@SDJR7F88 He wrote a story called "Diesel meets his match" where diesel teases Gordon about Tenders and then Basil who the engine in this video is meant to be comes to Sodor.
Semley is excellence in railway modelling. I, too, model to P4 in Western Australia having been a Nine Elms and, later, Basingstoke fireman in the 1960s. We still had a 'Black Motor' or two then also!
