I remember this from Guitar Hero Aerosmith all those years ago and it’s what got me into his solo work! Man he’s incredible on his own, he needs to sing a bit more on some of his stuff he has. He’s got a great voice! Don’t hide it Joe!

I read his 1980 debut solo album was recorded in part to pay off an $80,000 room service bill Perry had racked up during the band's Draw the Line tour in 1978. This song was remade for Aerosmith's 1985 album Done with Mirrors, the first with the original lineup since 1979's Night in the Ruts (Perry left the band in the middle of that album's recording sessions) and the band's first for Geffen Records. But while it fared even worse in sales than 1982's Rock in a Hard Place did, it did show that the original quintet was back and here to stay.
