From the early hours of 18th September 1983, not June, and right in the middle of ITV's excessive campaign to make 'The Winds of War' their next 'Brideshead Revisited', albeit imported. Needless to say, the series and its sequel, 'War and Remembrance', are now largely forgotten.
old age is horrible ,you stay in bed as there is no where to go and you cant walk far ,eyes go dim ,hearing loss keeps others away from you as its too loud from tv, and people get fed up shouting repeating etc// great to see our old actors we grew up with ,sad we all get old if we are lucky ?? your health is your wealth x
“You can’t take it with you so you might as well wear it out”…. Reminds me of Chris Hitchens when he said “it gives me no peace so I give it no peace either”
Barry Norman's Film series was essential viewing when I was a kid and the years I spent vainly trying to win a director's chair . Thank you for the video it brings back so many wonderful memories .
What happened to baby Jane. Pat phoenix performance is wonderful. Homage to Joan Crawford and bette Davis. She certainly new her theatre and projected her voice wonderfully. if she had gone to Hollywood she would of been a star ...
Very sad about Roy, he was equal to Sammy davis junior a jack of all trades, very fit, musical expert, tap dancer he should still be here, this is music hall comedy at it's best looks familiar was onr of the best show's on t v.
It’s annoying he keeps asking the old lady how long she’ll keep looking for her collie and if there is any point in her coming back. Even if seven days is up, the dog might not be sold for a while, so of course it would be worth coming back.
If you have any other episodes of Unnatural Causes, please do upload them! I’ll be sure to give you a thumbs up and a grateful comment - just as I am so grateful to see this one, too!
I see GOOD MORNING BRITAINS version of Alan Partridge was presenting then. That was funny watching Mark Higgins and Howard Kendall ducking the branches! That looked like something from the film HOLIDAY ON THE BUSES!😸
I can see that's how Craig comes up with his rhyming couplets at the end of each episode of Robot Wars. I wonder if he's ever been asked to think up an extensive poem describing the show in a nutshell?
Such grace and beauty even though she was very ill at the time. Ingrid Bergman was pure gold on the silver screen, very talented, incandescent beauty. She inspired love and was loved.
