My name is Blaise Sack and I'm a content creator and owner of a production company based in Vancouver, BC, Canada (movesmedia.com). This channel is fueled by my crazy ideas, adventures, and the products/ activities I love. I started my career in video with a desire to get a pay cheque doing the things I love. My production company has given me some incredible opportunities to help make this dream come true. My goal on RU-vid is to take this dream one step further and build an audience of people who have similar interests to me. I hope I can create content that inspires, helps, and encourages others to pursue their passions at the same time that I can pursue the things I love and make a living doing it.
Thanks for stopping by my RU-vid channel and if this sounds like something that resonates with you please subscribe to my channel!
Glidecam! The Ronin has some annoying little jumps that they should not be there being a 3 axis motorized stabilizer. I have both. With the Glidecam, the only complain is the weight.
Your understanding of a restocking fee is clearly skewed. This has nothing to do with what it cost them to send them to you. It has to do directly with what it costs them to take them back. Once they've been through a shipping process, restocking a product requires potentially repacking, retesting or in some cases having to sell them as refurbished. Unopened helps, but still represents a period where the product wasn't potentially available, leading to lost sales. Companies aren't in business to hold your money in a savings acct until some point at which you decide to keep the product. In your case, there was no real justification for returning them...they weren't flawed, defective, etc. You got scammed but then we're essentially passing the cost incurred, partially on to the company you purchased from. Then in addition, your intent is to harm their reputation with this video. You're putting their company in the same position you're in. I agree their return policy should give you some blanket of security though, depending on how it's worded. In the end, I empathize with your situation.
The effectiveness of *BanninkSolutions* is extraordinary. Providing comprehensive walkthroughs from multiple perspectives on the issue, all captured on video with unique content for each topic, presented by a diverse array of individuals within the larger event, is both engaging and refined. It is remarkably impressive how a complex topic is made so easily understandable. Your work is exceptional.
Great comparison! Would've been nice to include some glidecam signature shots as well. You can clearly see how each glidecam user has their own strengths. Marcus' orbit was really impressive and much better than I could do! I personally love the low mode and transitioning from that to a high wide shot. Unfortunate he didn't nail that.
great video thanks. I have opened up the box for my Hero 11 black and charged up the battery - my issues is that your video shows across the bottom of the screen a block that you can tap which leads to another screen. My screen just says VIDEO and you can tap on it and nothing happens. I dont understand why my gopro is straight out of the box different to what your and other videos show. None of the instructions work bc the word "Video" on the main screen in the middle is dead - it doesnt work . Any idea why tapping on the word "Video" does not work ?
I personnally had the glidecam HD 2000 and used it for many years. It is a tricky tool and is difficult to get right. If you go sideways with the glidecam, it's almost impossible to keep the frame parallel to the ground, it's gonna look tilted toward the direction you're going despite your best efforts. Rotating around an a subject is also tricky because one most turn the shaft with the fingers to keep the subject in frame while walking, looking at the screen and paying attention where they're going. Too much or too little input on the shaft and the subject wont be centered anymore. Any movement on the shaft will 100% be noticeable in post prod. And it's very painful on your arm after 15 minutes of holding this thing. Remember, the more weight you add, the more stable it is, but the harder it becomes to hold in the air.
And re back country, there is no standardised guide qualification required like in Europe, also no National coordinated SAR, should things go wrong. Also Travel insurance doesn’t cover skiing outside patrolled ski area, so it pays to be super aware and careful of who your guide is and what experience and qualifications they have…
Great video. Please consider not driving on the beach. It’s a very sensitive ecosystem and of course, even more so on those islands. The Galapagos of Canada. Driving on the beach kills countless animals hiding under the sand. Also, oil leaks that the vast majority of vehicles have will end up in the ocean. If one person does it it’s probably not a big deal, but if someone advertises it on RU-vid, setting an example and many people do it then it starts to have a very big impact. Thanks for considering and happy travels.
The problem started with your greed that you’re wanting to buy items provide no value and then sell them to somebody else for hire that’s called greed you should be ashamed of yourself
GoPro 7 and 8 are still great choices. They take great video and give you good frame rate options for slow motion. You don't get some of the newer features GoPro has released but if you're relatively new these options are great to start with and give you lots of growing room.
any idea how to overlay garmin cycling stats over a gopro video? seems either very difficult, or not possible at all, which is why i am leaning towards getting an insta360
As far as I know it's not possible... think the only options are to use GoPros badges which include GPS, route, speed, etc but don't think you can overlay another devices data.
