The graphics looks better, naoe is perfect for my playstyle fast challenging combat where you can die more easily, parkour and long/mid range weapons, yasuke is cool but his combat hmm it certainly better than valhalla but I’m not too sure yet also we need a more robin outfit , i hate bulky armor unless I’m a witcher
Some of the stealth mechanics, like actually hiding in shadows, are pretty impressive. Aside from that, it's looking like standard AC RPG. - Great graphics - Janky animations - Awkward UI elements - Passible voice acting - Big Ol' Map full of interest points The game does seem slightly improved in a lot of those areas when compared to past AC games, so what it really comes down to is the story being the key improvement. If the writing is well done and the characters are interesting, they might have something better than usual here.
From a technical perspective i really miss the baked lighting system from unity. I do understand that with baked lighting this game probably wouldn't work due to different seasons and time. However this looks really washed out, i do not see where they have implemented the Ray Tracing Global Illumination as the shadows and occlusion effect really looks off, especially on character models. I hope they can intensify shadows a bit more and give it a bit more popped up look, because it looks really bland and washed out to me
One question that I think is still unanswered is how can we access the memories of two completely different individuals at the same time? They're not like Demios/Kassandra or Odin/Eivor. This time they're completely separate characters and letting us experience memories of both seems a bit far stretched from the established lore unless I'm missing something. I'd argue that something similar can be said when Aya's memories were accessed while going through Bayek's storyline by getting her DNA through the knife. What are your theory or opinion about this topic
The Animus Hub will also be the new home to launch AC titles from, and the modern-day storyline will be separate from Shadows & future games on the Hub but maybe they’ll explain it there
Minor spoilers for end of Valhalla & some of Mirage: - - - Basim gives a blood sample to William Miles & the Brotherhood so they can learn from his experience, so maybe it’s kinda the same concept for the next games in the series?
The parkour is junky, bad idea using Valhalla's resources, at least use a different game's resources, even AC Odyssey was faster than AC Mirage. *BUT* GOD DAMN THE STEALTH
actually, this looks promising. I had my doubts about when they made Syndicate where both characters looked the same. Here, they feel and look different.

@@Astristulit’s confirmed that the modern story will be separate from the historical settings of games, but hopefully there’ll be some crossover content like the modern story protagonist discussing things in the game 🤷♂️
imo its so immersion breaking just to switch characters mid quest. Its only on some main missions maybe cool like in syndicate but tbh i never switched chars after i accepted one main one. So i hope you are kinda able to stick to one and ignore yasuke. Ghost of tsushima really combined the samurai and shinobi queite good in one Character. WIsh ubisoft would do the same
Hopefully this means they're starting up the promotion machine again now, I want new info, not just explaining why there's 2 protagonists forever, what's up with the rpg mechanics, the hideout, how does the main story being nonlinear work?
@@oet8008 I'm not fanboying. I hate Ubisoft with all my heart after what they did to the Crew. However I don't blindly hate on anything. We need more evidence before we get excited for this game or before we start bashing this game. And we will get that evidence once the game releases. Before the release, saying things like "this will be the greatest game" or "this will be the worst game" is pointless. I know it is cool to hate on Ubisoft nowadays but I would still advise anyone to be skeptical about a video game that has not yet released.
The more gamepley I see, the more I stand by that Naoe should have just been the one and only main protagonist and Ysuke just an AI companion with maybe one or two missions playable just like Aya in AC Origins. Naoe fits what we are accustomed to for AC gameplay mechanics. The stealth, the parkour, the gadgets. They should have just focused on her for the main story, and gave him a story DLC later down the road.
I’m kinda thankful for Yasuke as a protagonist cuz we can learn more about Japanese culture along with a protagonist, and he’ll have different strengths than Naoe even tho I’ll prolly be playing with her most of the game
For now, all i wanna know is about the history and how they'll approach the Assassins in it. I expect that can be something active and apparent in the game and not just a background, like Valhalla
Naoe is a Assassin & her father is part of the order in previously established lore I’m pretty sure!! & Naoe is also the leader of a Shinobi clan so there will be opportunities to recruit people with special skills & abilities, not sure yet if it’ll be like the brotherhood system from Ezio’s games, but hopefully 🤞
We got more glympses of the ships on the game, só bad that It wont have more naval exploration, Japan as a insular Nation always have an rich naval culture, Idk, since the Odyssey naval drive gameplay, i always expected that any assassina Creed that its launched after, hád a rich naval exploration, excepet for mirage of course
I hope they have at least one mission with naval combat, kinda like previous games (like Origins). There might also be a DLC that has it as part of a story 🤷♂️

Liberation is all about fighting enslavers & colonizers, 4th game you fight European colonizers in the Caribbean & free enslaved people on plantations, Unity you’re part of the revolution, Syndicate you fight for the working class, Origins you fight Roman colonizers, Odyssey you fight people controlling politics, Valhalla is anti-Anglo Saxon (colonization thru Christianity) Mirage you fight with self-emancipated people & fight corruption
Combat naturally has less to talk about than stealth, his unique weapons, barging through walls, armour and guns will hopefully be enough to make him uniquely fun to play
They cut down what was said about him because they cannot in good conscience call him Japans first black samurai anymore as the sources who spread that have been confirmed false
@@Astristul not that it’s a must but that it’s easier to do so as yasuke or easier to do so as naoe, the shooter in yasuke’s gameplay, yasuke can shoot him, we saw in a previous leak naoe can fight brutes , to me it just spells challenge and I’m all for it
