Well here goes another Chateau adventure guys, just had the recliner chairs serviced, the armrests modified so we can put the kettle, toaster and sandwich toaster on so we don’t miss a episode, so bring it on team we are ready 😊
This is great news. I am really happy for you. This would be a wonderful place to potentially have Composers for Beauty Retreats with music video productions and a concert for the village at the end. This could be one way we could help contribute both financially and with publicity. I wonder, does it have a large room that could be used for concerts? Merci beaucoup !! Après un an, tout va bien ça n'a pas bougé d'un poil. Le plancher en OSB a été traité avec du rubber tix de chez griffon (1mm d'epaisseur max) au niveau des contacts avec le chassis pour éviter les bruits de contact entre bois et métal. Sinon le reste de la surface du dessous a été traité avec un vernis microporeux woodskin de chez international, uniquement sur la face extérieure. Il ne faut pas mettre de vernis trop étanche et encore moins des deux côté car le bois doit pouvoir encore respirer. Le contreplaqué marine est uniquement dans la partie arrière de la caravane, derrière l'essieu, là où les projections des roues sont les plus importantes. Même traitement, même si on pense que le vernis n'était pas nécessaire du tout. C'était une planche de récup qui trainait depuis 15-20ans dehors en porte d'abri et directement exposée, et qui n'a jamais bougé.
Dès que je passerai dans la région je me ferai un plaisir de faire un tour dans votre magnifique parc. Avez vous envisagé à faire une vidéo en expliquant l’achat de ce bien ? ( comment avez vous procédé pour chercher un château, paperasse administratif, difficulté, prix de la rénovation…. )

I am so glad this is the chateau you two ended up restoring and becoming caretakers of. Im happy to see this beautiful chateau be saved, with care and awareness of its history, but also because of its location and the prospects of community involvement. @harviebrydon. I was in residency July 2022 at Chateau D'Orquevaux. I met several artists, writers, and performers, that I am still in touch with. Ziggy , Beulah and staff provide an environment that allows artists to play, discover, invent, reinvent, share, encourage, adapt, and be free. The quiet village is itself a gem. It is tranquil and pretty. What Ziggy and Beulah are building is a place where artists have an opportunity to grow and flourish.
