Welcome to a day in the life of a bakery owner. I'll show you behind the scenes of a bakery. The ups, the downs and everything in-between. If you want to learn how to run a small business, this is the channel for you. Follow me while I document my entire journey and let's see where this thing takes us!
A little about my business: I own a Cookies By Design bakery where we specialize in sugar cookies, cookie bouquets, logo cookies, and custom favor cookies. We do catering, and also ship nationwide. Recently my attention has been growing a gourmet cookie business as well. These are those HUGE 6 ounce, stuffed cookies I bet you've seen everywhere, but no, our cookies don't crumbl ;)
Omg! I had to take another shot of insulin just looking at that mammoth cookie! Lol 😂 Seriously though, it is evident the love, time and care you put into your products. Kudos to you! Being a business owner means there are no days off. That’s why I’d rather be a worker bee! lol 😅 I wish you much success in your business!
As a cottage Baker how much cookie dough you have made I have some sitting on the counter right now that I'm waiting to come to room temp. Keep up the good work
When you said you were Brazilian I was like, "that's why this man is soooo freakin FINE". That ain't no regular American beauty... That's INTERNATIONAL beauty‼ Got the girlz fanning themselves 😂 Naw, but them cookies dead ass look good AF!! Congratulations on your cookie success and your growing RU-vid success 🫶
Kai, so much to unpack here! Great video! would love to know the tip (#,name, brand, etc.) you use on the bottles? Then would love a video about you royal icing from start to finish(making, consistency etc.). Love the “FLASH” method. I feel like I have to try that! I soooo want a printer! #goals ALL THE TIPS IN THIS VIDEO! 👊👍
Hey Gabe, great suggestions. I will make an icing video soon, was already on my list of video ideas. I will then make a tip/bag video separately (thanks for this idea)
Your better off just ordering from a supplier cause yeah your wasting on delivery and fuel charge but your saving time and gas and you could get just 1 delivery if anything is bad with the supply they pick up not you but if it's starting business I get it
Omg love that your wife is in this with you I didn’t know , I will love to hear her talk about her experience as a business owner with her hubby , it’s my future GOAL couples dreams
Of course! And no, I do not need to put ingredient labels on my baked goods. I'm pretty sure that's standard but could be different based on state? I just never walked into a bakery in any state where they needed labels on their baked goods. The same goes for a cookie. If the customer requests it, I can print one out. Hope that helps. Thanks for the question.
