Hey Barnyz, how wonderful to watch your video of another beautiful Northern Italian Lake. Lecco looks like a perfect place to explore and admire the stunning views. The evening illuminations must be a great sight too. The various time lapses were really atmospheric to watch. Wow the cable car provides such amazing views, you can see for miles.

The surrounding scenery was insane, imagine waking up to that every morning. The lake itself was also stunning but could get overlooked buy the mountain setting but the best of all worlds and it looked great all lit up at night. The church inside looked very grand but I wonder why it too so long to complete but maybe the need to for a city wall may have contributed to that. A cable care ride up the mountain would be a must as would be the 5 minute walk to the 'Cross' viewing platform - what a view! I would love to visit and hike there! Cheers Alan

We stayed in a hotel with lake views... but the weather was quite terrible for the most part so we never really got to enjoy them.. oh well next time! There was one good day which is when we went up the mountain and that made everything worth while as it was amazing looking down over the clouds. No idea why the church took so long, its not that big but it is very ornate so maybe it was just the decoration that took time. Thank you. There did not seem to be any when I was there at new year but I believe there should be some at normal times to Bellagio such as lakecomotravel.com/boat-tours-ferry-lake-como/#public-tours
