Love the way Taylor mixes those drums and this is actually the kind of sound i want for my e-drums but your is truer to Mario album sound. This is good they included raw sound, so that talented people like you could mixed it differently. This snare has some amazing snap !
I‘m glad you say that bro! You can get a really modern, crisp sound out of that library with the One Shot samples engaged and high velocities. I tried keeping it closer to the original drum sound of the Gojira song and chose the wooden snare for it 😊🤘🏼
@@laylortarson Thanks so much Taylor! You guys did an awesome job capturing those drum samples. I really enjoy playing around with them and will absolutely use them in my mixes. :)
@@MixReady Thanks so much man! Sorry for the late response! I'm gonna use this template for my next Productions. Maybe possibly you could make me a custom one using Neural Dsp Nolly with GGD Cali cabs and this drum library with the brass snare!
@@jairocerritos3213 Hey Jairo! I think Neural DSP Nolly + Cali Cabs is a match made in heaven and I'm sure it would sound great with the Gojira drums! I'd love to create that custom template for you. Please send me a message on FB or an e-mail to georg@mix-ready.com so I don't forget about it with the holidays approaching :)
So sick! To tell you the truth - the Cubase Drum Map is worth the price alone! This is just a no brainer. Another sick release, dude! :) MixWave is kickin A$$$! It seems like they use 2 kicks instead of just one (unlike GGD). I hate having one kick to handle double kick parts - like a dbl pedal. Makes no sense. What I also like about this one is it seems to be going on a trend - where there are two settings/keyboard triggers for all the pieces in a set. I believe (don't hold me to it) the snare, for example has a left hand + right hand hit? Drumforge has been starting to do this. Except with MixWave it's not just for the shells! This makes all the difference in the world in creating realism.
Hey man thank you for the kind words!! That‘s exactly my goal with the templates and drum maps - to make it as convenient as possible. I think what you are referring to is that you can assign 2 midi notes for one drum articulation. For example: „Hi-Hat Closed Tip“ can be F1 and D#3 at the same time. However, both notes will trigger the same samples, so it‘s no right hand / left hand thing I believe… Let me know if I misunderstood
Hey there! Thanks for checking out this Mix-Ready template 🙂 You need the MixWave „Gojira“ drum samples before you can use the template. I am not affiliated with MixWave (although the names are similar haha). You can get these drum samples here: www.mixwave.net/products/gojira-mario-duplantier You‘ll also need the free Kontakt 6 Player
Every single release of any good stuff I know I’ll gonna find here a good video! I saw this mixwave Gojira drums and I really enjoy the plug-in options and the things we can change on it! I’m a big fan of architects so I also saw the ggd new drums today, Ggd really sounds very good, mix ready, and have a good punch But I think the mixwave interface//UI, have more versatility and things that you can make you drum sound a bit different so it’s more versatile Ggd OKW is good but I think is only that specific sound, right? Maybe invasion is a good way to go because you have loads of snares and kicks that you can choose. Anyways Thank you for being awesome with your videos. You deserve 1million views buddy.
@@MixReady the Drums sounds awesome dude 👏 I wonder now if you would do a cubase pre made songwriting template with all instrument using superior drummer 3 and on strings neural dsp plugins instead ? I think you would do a great job 🤘
Will having a template for this library help in anyway if I’m just using the plugin for my electronic drums? Will it help? Sound better? Thanks I’m a reaper user
Hey Arturo! Thanks for checking out this template 🤘🏼 It will definitely make the drums sound better. I am using low latency plugins to mix the drum kit and make it sound like in the demo song 🤘🏼
Hey there! Yes absolutely! The plugins that I used in this template have very minimal latency. You will just need to adjust the midi mapping a bit, so that your e-drums trigger the correct sounds. Let me know if you have any more questions!
Hey George! By any chance, are these the DI tracks for the guitars and you used an amp sim over top or are these already distorted stems? Reason I'm asking is if you mixed them with your own amp sim, I want this sounds lol.
Hey Jairo! I only got the amped stems from João, but the funny thing is that those guitars are the Neural DSP amp sim with the default setting :D followed by Soothe2 and Pro-MB to tame the palm-mutes. That's basically it :) Let me know if you have any more questions!
Anyone having issues with MIDI on this? only time I get sounds is when I click the drums. Midi making and midi keyboard have no sound. My GGD drums works fine in Kontakt though. Any ideas??
Hey, please check if your Kontakt Midi Channel is set to Omni. You can find this option in the top bar of any Kontakt instrument, where it says „Midi Ch:“. Please send me an e-mail to georg@mix-ready.com if it still doesn‘t work. Thank you for using the template! 😊
Hey there! I‘m afraid it wouldn‘t work, because Perfect Drums is not a Kontakt Instrument. Also the mixing of kick, snare, toms, etc. would be completely different for Perfect Drums. :( I am planning on creating templates for Perfect Drums in the future though :)
@@ajayburra6958 hey there! Yes you can add your own tracks for guitars, bass, etc. 🤘🏼 You can use the master bus processing that I set up already - so everything will be compressed and limited for a good loudness level
