back in 2012, i was diagnosed with brokenheart syndrome or Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. It's a condition where your heart muscles contract involuntarily -- weakening its pumping force. it could have led to a heart attack at random which could have killed me. this was after my father passed away due to colon cancer and right after i caught my GF at the time cheating on me. So it isn't really far fetched to say Rudeus could have died after losing paul and seeing how zenith was after everyone risked their lives to get her. Real people died for less than that in the real world.

1. Ed (Psyculturists) is amazing, I'm glad you mentioned him. His analysis on MT is the best around. Side note, with how far you are in the LN you for sure don't have to worry about spoilers from his chat. His mods are very good at filtering spoilers and even then, nothing even comes close to being mentioned past vol 14. But even that is his chat just messing with him about "the rat" but even he still has no idea what that means, it's just an ongoing joke with his followers. 2. I am a LN reader myself; I've read the entire story and MT has been one of my favorite stories of all time. However, the LN readers have been the most annoying people in regard to this episode. They act like the story is completely ruined because of the changes that were made. It's not that big of a deal, the end result was even still pretty much the exact same as in the LN. All of the complaining is unnecessary, and they should just enjoy what they get instead of harping on the adaptation being exactly 1 to 1. I'm just happy to have this masterclass of a story be adapted at all and on top of that be adapted as well as it has been. Despite the changes, you can't deny the amount of care that is put into the anime and the story in general. I was also happy to hear you say that it's the author's story and as long as he is okaying the changes to HIS story that it is perfectly fine. That's all I really have to say about that, you got a sub from me!

Corporate intent = creates corporate product. This isn't surprising. While I don't really care for this series, the IP, or western cartoon shows too much in general, I'm concerned about WB moving forward with this. I hate the fact that American companies are pretty much setting up shop in the Japanese market because _"hurr-durr_ anime is popular, it makes money, and we want some of that money." We already had a debacle with American credit card companies censoring Japanese art. Now we're gonna have an American studio company waltz right on and start telling Japanese studios how to make anime by commission. Is that exaggerated? Probably, but not out of the possibility. In short, I don't like this. It's just a stone throw's away at damn near buying out part of the industry. And in case I have to remind you, American companies pretty much treat Japanese companies like shit, just ask Tango Gameworks which was axed by Microsoft. It doesn't help that the obsessively bad decision making in the U.S. when it comes to managing entertainment tends to fall flat on it's ass. A lot of these former big time studio companies are either going bankrupt, or having to deal with asset sales, or mergers. WB lost over $200Mil just on a video game alone that: • No one asked for. • No one liked. • No one plays. Can you guess the name of that video game? Suicide Squad: Kill the justice League. Don't get me started on where to begin with that mess, but let's just say that people have had enough of this IP, and this last push that left everyone familiar with it a very sour taste in their mouths. So just a guess, I don't think very many _"anime fans"_ be it newbies/normies, veterans, or posers are gonna bother with this series.

You are not supposed to like Rudy in this scene. I honestly would've preferred that Roxy and Rudy had waited for Sylphy's permission before getting physical, but Rudy is a really flawed character, and he is still growing and maturing. Yeah, this may be his second life, but he had 20 years of baggage from his first life to work through in the process of becoming a better person.

Champions are individuals of certain strength and caliber who became revered by the people because of their heroic deeds or immense strength while Heroes are the counterparts to demon lords, an existence that only those who have the blessing of an elemental spirit of either light or darkness can obtain. === The Dungeon is one of most, absolute, favorite parts of Tensura. Think a dungeon from a roguelike game. Next episode will probably explain more how Ramiris' Small World works (the name's not a spoiler we see it in the first season). It is absolutely broken though. === Ramiris is so sick of being called a NEET and being made fun of for it by her fellow Demon Lords that Rimuru just earned her eternal loyalty.

My honest opinion is that Rudeus, even in his severed state accepted Roxy to help him, even with dialogue only. Roxy could have slowly worked him back to almost himself, from what i understand he was willing to interact with her and it’s possible she could have picked up on that, but she’s no expert, not to mention it would have taken her considerable amount of time to change his outlook and start real changes, plus it’s more of a coulda shoulda woulda. It isn’t constructive, more so damaging. That being said… There are people in real life that are currently experiencing this in varying degrees. That doesn’t mean they’ll present themselves like Rudeus does (some hide it until it’s too late) but it’s a strong reminder to care for your friends and family, to check up on them, reassure them that you’re by their side. It’s a hole people can’t simply stop digging themselves into, until eventually, they no longer see any light and…

Need to bump this anime up my list, trying to get through all the shorter anime in my list first, ones with multiple seasons I’m putting on the long finger haha.

An excuse is saying you're depressed and broken by the death of 2 people Rudeus said himself he really didn't care for very much, to the point where you are on the verge of killing yourself, when you have the perfect life waiting for you at home with a perfect circle of friends and family to comfort you for your loss. Rudeus' depression is just an excuse to be weak and hide away from the world when it doesn't go his way, waiting for someone to come and rescue him again. That's an excuse.
