Theres a 2017 S P100D w/ ludicrous. The guy on the description says it has Free Supercharging but the sticker built has 9/17. Is free supercharging transferable? Also the guy selling it for 40k at 66k miles. Good deal?
I don't think you fully get the point of the miata. You brought up way too many times about its lack of power. Or how you have to work to get to a certain speed. Yes, everyone knows that. Since 1989. That's not what the car is about. Like an old 911, or a Porsche 356. When you're only going 45mph you're engaged and having fun. In a high HP car you are miserable going 45mph.
@@joshm6560 if they would sell me one at MSRP today wire ready no f’in joke. But not playing crazy over games, and honestly that car has too much HP to really have much fun. As a guy who tracks often, rather have a momentum car more times than not.
My 2021 Spyder is a higher spec than this. Has Pepita seat inserts, PCCB, multfunction wheel, LWB, Burmeister, Front lift kit, Black aluminum, black painted calipers, painted roll hoops, painted headlight washers, alcantara visors, leather inner door sills, PDLS+, and much more. Super high spec. In fact, the only options it doesn't have really is the leather fuse box covers. So, with the combination of LWB, PCCP and Burmeister, Porsche confirmed it's 1:1 in the world. Don't think $225k is where my car would sell. I'm thinking closer to $200k. The window sticker you showed said $125k which is more like it; my MSRP was $141k which is about as high as you can go without doing PTS or Sonderwunsch. The ADM of $100k is not something that you could likely recoup now. So I honestly don't think you're even close to $225k for this car. More like $140k.
@@tedkramer1208 nice spec. And yes misspoke and said it twice which is unlike me but hey only human. The car just had a deposit take yesterday first day on market, for asking which was just under $135k. So tells you for right cars priced right market is good.

Hello I’m new to the bmw world. Love the 7 series. Looking at a 2014 750i with 151k miles on it. Anyone has one with this type of miles plus with any issues?
What a BS headline 🤦♂! Listen: "Peak Porsche 911" is always the next coming Porsche 911". Just ask Andy Preuninger! You are just way too hysterical and dogmatic with your opinions about Porsches, dude! Porsche has thousands of engineers constantly improving the rear engine recipe, since more than 60 years for the 911. These guys know exactly what they are doing. American social media trashtalkers know absolutely "NOTHING" about the Porsche philosophy or keeping the 911 legacy alive. Greetings from Stuttgart, Germany
100% agree, peak Porsche for the money. Could have a base 911 or this. Spyder is an outstanding buy for those who are smart enough not to obsess over the 911 badge
@@oliverradcliffe7974 these cars pass through, we source them, review them, and work to sell to a good home. Not all reviews are for sale many are not in fact, but ones in this playlist are mind you.
@@bn8530 yes I’ve learned brokering cars is really only way to earn any money with a small channel like mine. A lot of risk though, they don’t always work out.
I test drove a ND years ago but unfortunately could not properly fit in it with my 6"3.. So I settled for a E89 BMW Z4, and now drive a Porsche 718 Boxster.. Just a bigger Miata/MX5 I guess.. 😂
I got to drive one of these earlier this summer. I was worried it was going to suck getting back into my S2000 afterwards but... it didn't. I think about 80% of it is the gearing (it's geared WAY too tall, I think the top of second is like 86mph) but the other 20% was that for a quick back road rip, it's just too competent and fast to have reasonable fun in. In the S2000 I can explore some loss of grip and wind out the engine and crack a bunch of incredibly enjoyable shifts. In the Spyder you barely shift and the limits of the car are so high you're only pushing them while going straight- to-jail level speeds.
@@KirkwoodImaging you’re spot on, its a car that you have to track to get to any real limits. Having said that, it’s still a lot of awesome on the street.
@@KirkwoodImaging my spyder is going up in value, you have a falling knife. Plus, you clearly don’t know what you are talking about regarding more fun….
No one? We're talking about it right?!? I'd take the "regular" Boxster GTS 4.0 though.. Easier to daily with the roof and a bit more comfortable.. The Spyder I would only buy and drive as a fun weekend car, and when money is no issue..
@@inflatable2 all fair points. That title is really just to get you guys engaged. No fun spending hours making content that no one clicks on. Although, one could make an argument it’s all about the RS now and no one is talking about the “normal” Spyder.
Fair enough, I made however another choice. I bought a Spyder as a roadtrip car. last two years we drove over 35.000 kilometers in Europe. Such a nice car for these purpose. Comfortable enough (I have the 18 way comfort seats) en enough luggage space for a three week holoday
@@Patrick-jc9pb man thats awesome to read! Yeah with the 18 way seats this car becomes arguably the best sports car period. After owning one with the 18 way and buckets, I would personally recommend the 18 way seats. Those are “wife approved” seats too. Mine was not a fan of the buckets she would complain about them.
The Spyder top is not an issue for me at all. Drove my 718 Spyder for over 20k miles before selling to add a 992 C2S. Now back in market for a Spyder…great great platform. If only the SRS was a bit friendlier in price…maybe someday.
@@BubuBarong appreciate you sharing that didn’t know that but makes sense. I will say and as noted in the video this car is not too low, so you can get away with most including driveways like mine.
Gorgeous car. Was watching it through and enjoying the vid but you didn’t actually earn my thumbs up UNTIL you mentioned putting gloves on to open the trunk to avoid getting fingerprints on the paint.. haha, love it :) Good luck with the sale. Buyer should be assured this car was well taken care of, judging by your attention to detail. Looks absolutely mint and it sounds like you’re mechanically sympathetic too, so I’m sure the engine and gearbox are good as new. Would’ve done great on BaT!
@@ohmyggg 😂 After so many years of making content we’re not even at 10k subs so I’ve come to the conclusion that I just suck, or enthusiasts are virtually impossible to please. In all seriousness thanks for watching and liking/dropping a comment. And yes, I take care of my metal the cars always run better and look better after they roll through the Driven HQ.
@@thomasungeheuer4851 I prefer the exterior of the 718 for sure, but prefer the older 3.8 N/A 911 engine/lighter flywheel setup. While it was down some on power especially low down, it made up for it in the soul and experience on the top end.
I think you got this wrong. Even loaded 718 spyder was way under $225k. I have one with upgraded leather and PCCB. Only thing I'm missing is the carbon bucket seat and PTS color. Mine was $120k MSRP and fully loaded with everything was around $150k. Even Spyder RS costs under $200k MSRP. $225k is Spyder RS with dealer markup pricing.(Spyder RS MSRP is 160k with option is around 190k).
@@johnnyboy1586 ain’t that the truth, if is wild to think that but with Turbo / hybrid / EV technology 414 HP really ain’t much. But, this car at 3,140 pounds is the game changer.
@@johnnyboy1586 @johnnyboy1586 I drove 400+HP roadsters for a long time but in the end got a bit fed up with not being able to really use all that power on the public road, so I ended up with a base Porsche 718 Boxster with "only" 300HP as my daily for now.. That's still plenty fast enough to easily brake the law and I think still sounds cool with it's deep rumble etc despite all the talk about it not being a NA 6-cilinder Boxer.. It's 'a lot' cheaper as well, so affordable for way more people.. You do not need all these expensive high-end models to have fun, just get a base which is still a brilliant driving lightweight mid-engine Porsche..
