I also have both a 'flex (2.8D) and a cord Vb. Love them both. Had the flex overhauled by Harry Fleener in Manhattan Beach CA. Oceanside Camera. It was a whole bunch of money, but the flex is perfect. I will be shooting both these until I can't shoot any longer. BTW, nice review of the two cameras. Earned my sub.
I inherited my Rolleicord indirectly from my grandfather. I used it once or twice but wasn’t really happy with the results, but after seeing your video I may try it again.
I just bought an electric skateboard and I'm going to learn how to ride it. I really appreciate this video, since I'm a thirty year old adult and I've only ever skated a handful of times in my life.
There’s an eBay auction for this lens that ends in 2 hrs your the reason I’m bidding. I have a 50 1.4, a 135 mm 2.5 (this was my first one). I have a 55mm f2 in the mail amazing lenses. These lenses make you feel like an artist
I am just turning 50, and today, I bought a skateboard and decided to watch some videos, so i came across your tutorial, and yours is amazing. Thank you very much
The Kingdom of God is at Hand John 3:16 King James Version 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
When I was a kid we lived in this tiny town in Michigan- Whitehall. There was a hill that was SUPER steep and hardly any cars- well, to be fair there were fewer than 3000 people in this town... You could do the most amazing wide looping sweeps back and forth on that hill to cut speed. It was awesome! We also had a funeral home the next block over that had a parking lot that was paved but still was not flat- had little undulations in the surface that made skating fun. This was 1978-1979 and there was no skatepark so we made the most of it. AND- that purple board at the end looks like the one I had back in 1978! Mine was yellow but looks to be almost identical!
It `s genius. I'm 46 years old, I just bought my first board and after your video I felt like I could do it. I felt like I wanted to. Thank you. Greetings from Poland
Im 41 and I'm trying to teach myself to ride a skateboard and so far this video is the only one I can understand thank you very much I hope I can do it
One of the better videos I've seen. I started quad skating 2 years ago. I was 64. I'm thinking about trying skateboarding. I got my 7 year old grandson one for Christmas. I'm really itching to learn and thinking about getting a board. Maybe I'll borrow his first. Thanks for a great video.
Great video. I love your grainy, haunting images. As you say - the antithesis of “Digital Perfection” I’ve been looking to try some of these alternative processes in camera, by coating strips of paper. A 120 roll is about 1m (3.3ft), so you can get a lot of images from a roll of art paper (such as Awagami papers). I’ve also been thinking of using old Polaroid film packs. I have a mamiya RB67 and a Polaroid back,so I might well try this Have you considered applying a wash of coffee to your prints? Fix with white vinegar or sodium carbonate, then soak in coffee and rinse in vinegar again
Amazing cinematography you have a knack for choosing great angles. I think you'd like it if you could cruise next to a pro skater and film them in unique ways. That'd be so cool to watch. Maybe even use a drone or something.
the best thing of this video. is the safety. eventually you can become pro and this is al little bit more tricky and not worry about certain things thanks for this vid
