So 30% on a credit card isn’t eroding your money ten times faster than inflation? Even in hindsight with high inflation and the markets doing well where do you beat 30%. If it’s a legit emergency you will carry that balance lose your ass.
I watched a lot of videos of compairing the difference between VTSAX and VTI , this video is helpful , thank you very much. But one thing no body talking about is their prices difference, as today April 18 2024 VTSAX is $120.56 and VTI is $246.89 , since they are very similar, why per share price is so different?
Im pretty lucky to work for a company that matches 10% for my 401K. So I contribute 12% and my employer contributes 10%. Im already at $55,000 is just 2 years. Almost there!
I watched several RU-vid videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any head start because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands.
100%! I am going to follow your advice. For years have been hating the Credit Cards... After getting into several emergencies in the period of two months and in the middle of the tax rate and inflation crisis I reached to the point that I had no more emergency funds and was about to not make it to the end of the month, and I am very financial responsible. Was about to ask a big loan to the bank to survive and to replenish fast my emergency funds. Dumb dumb dumb. If I only had a credit card nothing of this would had been a problem. Now that I look back it makes no more sense to build a big emergency fund, a big waste of money to the inflation. Better to divide the emergency fund between a savings acccount and a credit card. I am going to follow your advice and put half of the savings account into some financial products.

Cricket is shit!!!! Lately, they are making it impossible for me to make a payment. My only option is calling 611, and they charge 4.50 convenient fee. This is why they are making it impossible. So I am taking my business some place else. The dirty bastards!!!! 😡 😤

Cricket Wireless is the same as AT&T starter. Price point with fiber 5 lines with AT&T is $112.50 plus taxes and fees. Less than $30 in taxes and fees, so less than $140 a month. Cricket is $125 no frills or $160 for 5 lines. AT&T you can get up to $800 sometimes $1,000 sometimes to get a new phone with trade in plus $200 per line you get a device and port in. So if you getting 5 Samsung S23 finance it for 3 years it would be $111.11 more on Cricket. So it all depends if you want to get phones heavily duscounted or pay full prices on smartphones.

Ive scoured the internet for info on the subject and i came up with close to nothing over the years. The reality is, the savings system is preached most because the overwhelming majority of people would rather save than to put in the work to improve income.
