@@M3Mills Great question! Yes ofcourse we're made to be creators as well. Being created in God's image and likeness gives us certain attributes that animals, trees, birds etc. don't have, and one of those attributes is to create out of our imagination. God gave us trees and we built shelters, God gave us plants and we made medicine etc. Creativity is part of our design, and in fact the first time musical instruments are mentioned was in Genesis 4:21. THAT is pretty awesome if you ask me! 🤓

This man is not teaching the gospel correctly, it does command us to evangelize! Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you Matthew 28:19-20

Umm the Bible does command us to evangelize, “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15-16 ESV Making disciples is when you have evangelized, and there is followers that has followed the teachings of the Word. Disciples mean follower of Christ. evangelizing means to proclaim the good news. In Mark 16:15-16 tells us that we are to proclaim the gospel to all creation. That is Jesus calling us to be evangelists.
I understand why you think this... but Jesus wasn't crucified yet, and the Gospel that was preached was the Gospel of the Kingdom (not salvation). So yes, they did preach the Gospel, but no one knew God's plan for the salvation of humanity through Jesus' death and resurrection until AFTER He rose from the dead. Also, the word disciple doesn't mean "follower of Christ" because many rabbis had disciples in Jesus' day. John the Baptist too had started discipling people before Jesus ever came into ministry.

Then you've never read the Bible. That's part of the Gospel. To go out into the world and spread the good news. He told that to his Apostles before he ascended the second time and for good.😅 read the book of Acts.
Wrong. He hadn’t gone to the Cross yet, so the message they preached was the Gospel of the Kingdom… not the Gospel of Salvation (which is what we attribute to ‘evangelism’). Jesus also never used the words “evangelize” or “evangelism”. 🙏🏽 Also, He didn’t ascend to Heaven twice, He ascended once 😅
@@resurgenceapp obviously you don't. What it tells us to do in the scripture trumps anything from this guy you say made a comment about it. It is not up for argument; all Christians are charged for spreading the word of God. And yes, social media accounts. It doesn't matter if you agree with it, because whether or not you agree with it doesn't make it a lie. So instead of taking the understanding of man, and twisting it to your own devices, you should pick up the scripture and see what it says.

everyone seems to assume satan is going to be horrid. if i go to hell then GOD is "punishing me" for my sins, but why would satan want to punish me too? satan despises christians. if i'm being punished by satan, then satan is doing god's work - that makes zero sense. hell is more likely to be eternity having more fun than you ever could on earth, this is what god hates, heaven will just be eternal worship, satan is SAVING you from an eternity of boredom and slavery. i see no reason why hell wouldn't be a great place to be, no mind control, no ten commandments to follow, just eternal life that you can probably quit if you get bored with learning guitar from hendrix or trying to grasp relativity from einstein. why would hell be undesirable? why would satan want to torment me - he detests god and christians, not sinners.
take away hell and religion would last two months tops. hell isn't real folks, and god is one big fat lie too, just to manipulate you, that's all these folks want - subs and likes and patrons, don't forget god ALWAYS needs your money. he'll pay you back at the cemetery.
don't worry god will forgive you any horror you care to indulge in. apart from maybe people on death row i never met a christian yet who wasn't sure that god will forgive them and they are going to heaven, so don't worry god isn't fussy at all about who he lets in, the path isn't narrow at all.
i reject god, he's failed at everything he's tried, and basically he's tried to make all of humanity slaves. frankly i think god should be in jail, although it's hard to arrest imaginary things.
just a quick reminder that the first amendment conflicts with the first commandment "thou shalt worship whoever you want" and that the declaration of human rights gives ME more rights than god. and a history lesson cos the USA is a secular nation, not many people seem to know that, and the founding fathers were at best deists and certainly not christian. hitchens became a naturalised american purely because of the constitution. the UK is officially christian, the US is officially secular. is it annoying that the satanic temple has the SAME RIGHTS as the church?
