Thanks great video, I'm so glad for the metric system, its so easy. I worked with a lot of guys who only did inches, feet and yards, but hallelujah australia adopted the metric system, I m more used to dealing in millimetres and metres, but using centre metres makes easier maths.
How is mounting these still so shit? Just include the hardware I need for whatever rack. Off-road companies leave a lot on the table with poor management.
I have some Gen 3 mags as well, was having all types of jams with them, but i used a dremel tool to shave down the tip like you did and they work flawless now, didnt have to put any of the superglue and baking powder as i compared the oem mags to the s15 mags and they had just as much wobble, shaving down the tip was all it needed
It should stick when you tap it, people keep them damn near dull or their maul and wonder why they have to heeman the shit out of it with a twenty pound sledge
My high school friend Brian piece went through his armpit through his lung and into his heart one of the finest human beings ever met those aren't cool!
The lids are hard to close. I found that if I leave them in the sun for a while so the plastic heats up they loosen up a bit. We shouldn’t have to. If you purchase a liner pack with the zippered top make sure the zipper are tucked away from the edge or you can’t close the lid. Stay away from buying the lid that adds more room because they’re almost impossible to close. I had to file the inner lid edges. I hope this helps.
Good process, the only thing I could add is to brush away the debris in the clutch area and clean the oil passage in the bar before reinstalling it. Nice gloves!
Great job explaining what radians are…why did you have to muck it up by taking a metric measurement and relate it to imperial measurements? That’s where everyone gets confused. As a shooter or hunter, just stick with either system (MOA or Mils) and don’t worry about conversions unless you’re ranging with your reticle and need to convert mils to yds for bullet drop. If you’re a hardcore Mils shooter, all your bullet drops should already be calculated in Mils and not require ANY conversion to imperial units or MOA equivalents. BTW, I’m American and quite familiar with MOA and yds…but Mils is a clearly superior system when ranging using your reticle. You can use ANY unit for target size and calculate range in the same units by direct measurement of the target in Mils using a ranging reticle…then convert the resultant range to whatever units you want.
If you have to use crazy glue to make these mags work then I’ll stick with 10 reliable rounds vs 15 maybes. I bought 3 gen 3 mags from them all fail to load the first round or fail to go into battery. Hornady Defensive Ammo used.
I have two gen 3 mags and i noticed they dont lock in right, the mag with a gentle pull they come right out of the pistol like if pressed the mag release, they run flawlessly though but i dont like the fact that even if u wiggle the pistol they will come out, any suggestions on why this is happening.
My first thought is the mag release you should be using - has to be a 'metal' mag release - or you will wear down the OEM mag release catch and what you've explained will occur. For whatever reason the cause is related to, in my opinion, there is an issue with the mag catch release and magazine's slot where the catch release should push into.
@@garysaylor1748 You can draw. It's learning the method. Drawing is like simple math and geometry. It's all about the method you want to learn and then from there you add your own style to the lines.
