I never really liked these plants in my yard because they are so hard to maintain if you let it get away from you. And since my HOA is now enforcing a two-tree minimum, I decided to remove it with a chainsaw. To make a long story short, it has been an excruciating two days since that fire-ant-feeling sap coated my forearms -- I look like I've broken out all over and is still quite uncomfortable. I've learned my painful lesson, but regardless, all of these plants need to go. I just need to be very careful from now on. I honestly thought it was similar to an Aloe plant -- not similar enough!
I definitely don't recommend the Teva Terra Fi 5. I recently bought a pair on Jun 2024, brand new, for a 2-week trip to Thailand during the rainy season, islands trips, etc. Unfortunately, although the sandals are pretty tough, they gave me blisters all over my feet when water was involved. I had to put on a sock to tolerate the pain. Do not use this if your feet and the sandals will get wet. Also, it takes a lot of time for these sandals to dry when fully wet. Additionally, although the grip btw the sole with the ground is very good, the grip between your feet and the top part of the sole is very slippery, so you would need to really tighten your sandals if you want to feel secure. I'm honestly very disappointed considering their price. I'm going to limit their use to indoors and with a sock on my feet. If anyone has a better recommendation for a similar price range, please comment. (I'll try to put this on every video I saw before I bought them to prevent other people)
Soles are great, the rest like straps etc. are of mediocre quality. Mine the plastic triangle cracked, broke after 3 months (wearing on average 3 times a week). Hype and poor quality.
My dad got into it with a chainsaw and had a real bad very sudden reaction. Rash, tremor, labored breathing, and abit disoriented for a few hours. He dropped the saw right when he felt it happen and ran into the house, and showered immediately but it was too late. It was a giant healthy old century plant, and he'd got himself soaked head to toe with agave goo when he chopped it apart. He was so busy being careful not to get poked he didn't even consider the juice from it could be toxic. And judging by the comments, many others have made this same mistake. Whether its a hangover, a poke, a rash, or a toxic shock like reaction, the agave always gets the last laugh one way or another doesn't it!
I have exactly the same issue. Since the sofa comes with a 10-year warranty, they sent an expert to inspect it. Without even opening the armrest, the expert concluded that it was mechanical damage and DENIED my claim. Of course, it's mechanical damage, but the root cause is poor design and materials. I recommend you think twice before buying this sofa!
I disagree, they do feel different to me. The 4 feels more comfortable. The cushioning in the heel section is better and also in the forefoot. They feel less stiff too and they have the spider rubber sole. In my opinion Teva cut some costs and corners with the 5 unfortunately.

Very helpful, thank you! I have adjusted dozens of bracelets but never one with spring bars holding it together, so my Casio G-Shock GST-B600D-1AJF was a mystery to me until seeing your video. Thank you again!
Sad I've already paid timpsons to adjust my GM-B2100, got a metal square delivered today so gonna try this one myself. Thanks mate. Very clear videography with concise instructions
If something is irritating, it is not toxic or terrible. Also Agave Americana is not the base of Tequila - this is Tequilana Weber Azul (which is probably even more irritating).
I received my pressure washer ru-vid.comUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!
48 hours in. Can't tell if spreading, or just in locations I didn't notice before. I have it on my hands and arms after a few hours chainsawing blue agave. Eczema runs in my family, and I treat most dermatitis with mometasone furoate cream 0.1%. Hopefully it gets better soon, and wishing you all the best.
Quick update - day 3/4. It spread a bit to behind my ear. Weird. Have applied the cream above 3 times in 2 days. Regular dosage recommends once/day but felt like things were festering a bit last night. I also took 2 benadryl then, and felt relief after about 30 mins. Now not sure if just hyper aware of my skin and all my nerve endings, or if it's spreading. Think it's too soon to reapply. I don't think I like being sweaty and/or in the sun right now. The pups will have to wait.
Day 5: added in Benadryls on top of the corticosteroid at normal dosage. Clearing up pretty good now, coloration has returned to all but normal. Should be more or less in the clear now...
