Where are those modern audience? It should sell well if there are many modern audience, they spend millions for 1% of modern audience then telling everyone don't like it don't buy it, when it failed they will blame fans are toxic😂 Dustborn straight to dustbin. Why I have to buy product that I don't like? They are living in delusional world when reality hit they still unable to realize, basically they are brain dead zombies.
I kinda like it that im now the problem. The attention feels nice. Its good to be hated by useless cretins who are taking orders to tell us that we need to take orders.
So does this mean I'm a terrible and stupid person for liking Fire Emblem and Pokémon because they're anime? Or I'm worthless for liking Legend of Zelda because nobody cares about it? Or I'm a piece of unadulterated sh*t for liking Mario and Grand Theft Auto because they're "too difficult" for autistic minds like mine? Which is it?
"Delivering quality no longer enough"?! Yea, Baldur's Gate 3 would beg to differ, a game that's still getting support from Larian Studios and has been very respectful to the playerbase despite cutting ties with Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro. And I feel the upcoming faithful remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, might do the same for Konami I have never played an Ubisoft title in my life. Guess that's a badge of honor now. Latest game I have purchased was Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, since Elden Ring is actually fun.
Would you like to know more ? Go check out the last 2 or 3 videos posted by Endymion...... EVERYTHING will make sense - everything will add up. The $500 million dollar dev costs.... The diversity hiring..... It will all make perfect sense. .... Of course your game is gonna cost 4 - 500 million to develop when EVERY SINGLE person on the dev team is a morbidly obese feminist with a gender studies degree..... No experience programming, coding, animation - NONE. It's a joke.
My real problem with AAA Game Developer/Publisher, they put 70$ price tag on a country where most people only makes around 150$ a month. They dont even bother to set a good regional price.
It's sad but I begin seeing what asmon mentioned. My generation ruining artistic works because of toxic positivity. Mamoa and Jack Black are heroes for my people, but they aren't able to effectively use them to make them shine. The text also seems boring.
Its run by consoles. Which is the fault of the public for supporting it because they couldnt be bothered saving for a PC. Now games are developed on a PC and ported to a console only to be ported back to the PC. You want shit you get shit, its your own fault.
Good points all around! One thing to add with the media in this day and age is that they don't listen to the audience, since they believe everyone to be their audience all at the same time. Culture loses all meaning if it's just made as a catch-all bland concoction of clashing ideas with the vague hope of reaching everyone, offending no-one and generating an infinite money.
graphics i would honestly consider one of the least important aspects of a game 1. gameplay 2. art direction 3. sound design 4. music 5. graphics but the only selling point of aaa games now is the graphics, all while gameplay and art direction feel dead and buried
entertainment did more than fail it committed suicide. now were watching a skin suit walk around being more preachy then the catholic church. an touching more children as well. somehow more racist an sexist than the kkk. i don't know how those dipshit manage that but they did. that's why i call it wokkke. o well i will let it all go to be lost. it had a good run. Ps not buying is a boycott.
In fact i believe there are reputable studies that prove its more beneficial to have your kids etc play videos games than consume pointless content on social media eg. Her content.
Hell I still play my LEGO DC Supervillains Game because it's better than WWE 2K24 and UFC 4. No ingame ads and its fun to just cause chaos in lego gotham
Yes, vote with your money. Ubisoft has not seen $1 from me since I played Far Cry 6.... After playing that game, I understood they were not targeting me as a customer.
I see this all the time in games when people or fanboys defend companies as if they are people not a business when they make anti-customer decisions. The company change people all the time and they only have one interest in mind and that's getting money. You getting anything out of that desire is just a byproduct to wanting your money. Thus it's in peoples best interest to... Look after their own interests not the interest of the people who sell them stuff they like.
I might be alone in this, idk, but I genuinely wish that the FF7 Re-etc. Trilogy was just a (mostly) one for one remaster/ remake of the OG. I very much disliked all the fluff and I couldn't even bother to finish Remake much less buy Rebirth. Just lost interest... Keep the original story and characters and just apply a new coat of paint. But no yellow paint. Please. I was excited at first. Not anymore. I just want a proper umpteenth remake of FF3, a one for one remake of FF9, and a good FF17. I loved FF15 & FF16.
"Why would I spend several thousand dollars on a PC when a console is only a few hundred?" These are the people that waste money in gaming and justify the retarded decisions made by companies like Sony. They'll say it's cheaper, and over spend on sub par quality. My PC is like $1,000 and plays everything just fine. I bought it years ago, and I still run everything on it. In the same time I spent 1k, console gamers that I know personally have spent over 5k on a PS4, PS4 Slim, XBox, Series X, Switch, Switch OLED, AND will still have to spend another $6-700 when the PS5 comes out to play those new games. Meanwhile, my janky PC is still trucking. When I did want an upgrade, I spent $40 on a stick of Ram. I didn't have to buy an entire new thing, I just bought a lil piece. Unbeatable .
Step 1: hire activists Step 2: let ideologues control production Step 3: let ideologues control marketing Step 4: don't profit Step 5: file insurance claim
Glad to be here, I think your videos are going to pop off. You have a great perspective that seems removed from the classic talking points of grifters on either side of the entertainment space. Great commitment to the wizard bit, and just great analysis. I appreciated your story at the end, mostly because it speaks to my own frustrations with the conversation, "it's just a movie/game/book/w/e, why get so worked up about it?" Your example with the two girls illustrations why it should matter, as well as your own experience, perfectly. Loving the channel, keep it up good wizard :)
