Which book are you trying to get? Some aren’t available from the librarian. Come to think of it, I don’t think I mentioned this in the video. I’ll have to make a pinned comment later.

I was joking at the start of the video about how slow he was going to play and i said, "its gonna take him 20 minutes to get iron" and it took him 19...
I have a total of 55 librarians in my base and they are giving insane deals like 1 silk touch for 5 emeralds and 1 book only and 1 mending for 11 emeralds and sharpness v for only 15 emeralds and many more ....
Maybe use a repeating piston on only 1 basalt generator so it would push basalt out to the block pushing limit which makes a regenerating line of basalt, then place a hopper+chest under the end of the line of basalt, mine the end of the line of basalt and then it will keep pushing and regenerating so you don’t have to worry about lava burning it, blocks in the way or quality! This also can work with cobblestone generators but isn’t recommended for cobblestone bc hoppers are better. This is a solution to the update!
@@srfekos161 update: i think they sell both at journeyman? i just went to a village, made a cartography table, have a villager get it, then farm sugarcane until it gets to journeyman and then trial explorer and woodland explorer show up, so im not sure actually
You can. If you have enough material to bridge out 1000 blocks to the islands, you can go exploring. But the only way back without defeating the dragon is to jump in the void and die. You'd need to make sure all of your stuff is in an ender chest so you can retrieve it in the overworld, as long as you have an ender chest there.
I enjoy the slow format. Do think it may help you to do basic resource gathering off camera. Just save the diamonds to mine during the recording session. Or you can do a long “no commentary” resource gathering episode for us to fall asleep or work/study to. It’s niche.
...by the way: take a lantern down (or a sea pickle, glowstone, etc.) with you when you go real deep underwater and set it down next to your work for viewers to see what's down there
a lot of us are actually here because we enjoy watching. there are tutorial tubers, and watching your gameplay WILL help new players, but tutorials tend to show perfect, effortless and highly unentertaining gameplay unlike yours which is authentic, largely unrehearsed, and has all the normal missteps we all do. it's your willingness to show actual gameplay (warts and all) that's the greatest assistance to new players (and for the rest of us nodding and saying to ourselves, "been there")...
