This campaign was made possible with the cooperation of ANA! We always have a great time on our long flights with ANA. So we wanted Kimonoko to experience their hospitality as well! Please fly with ANA when you come to Japan too🩷 www.ana.co.jp/en/jp/
A BIG THANK YOU again to Kimono mom and ANA for this opportunity. We the Musa family enjoyed every single day with you and your family. We hope to see you again someday. Arigatou gozaoimasu - Casimir Musa :)
Thank you so much for hosting a black American family! It’s something that shouldn’t be explained but im so happy you are breaking the narrative! Black folk ain’t all thugs and gangsters! We are very intelligent and love other cultures! And we can come in the utmost respect and reverence!
People think that there is a poor narrative but I’ve found that Japanese and black people can get along in my personal experience. This family had a wonderful attitude, was respectful of the culture and of their hosts, and painted a positive picture of Americans abroad. A perfect contest winner! 🏅
I love that Vanessa made the effort to learn Japanese to try to communicate with Moe’s family. And her father‘s energy is so positive! So happy that they won the contest and got this wonderful trip~ 😊
The Musa Family!!!! I've been waiting for this upload. This family seems so kind and very grateful to come visit you moe, motto and niece sutan [sorry, uncle roger moment] Bless this Family, they looked like they enjoyed their time in Japan. Would be nice if we might see them in future videos!!
Lovely Musa family Kimonoko! What a fantastic time!! The hotels looked amazing! - the views, the guest rooms, the dining rooms, & the food all looked spectacular!!🤩🌟 Asakusa area and the yakiniku restaurant looked like alot of fun! Thank you to Hoshino Resorts and ANA and Kimono Mom!! Special Thanks to the Musa family for sharing their Donabe Dream Trip experience with everyone!!! Arigatou gozaimasu! 🥰
Congratulations to Vanessa, her father and brother on winning trip of a lifetime to Japan. They seem such lovely people with a fascinating background and I hope a very successful future with their organic skincare brand.
Imagine your first trip to Japan being this awesome! The free flight, amazing hotels, great food, unique experiences and the best company! Remembering my first trip to Japan, I can relate to Vanessa's dad vowing to come back again. 😂🤣 The winner of the second campaign would be very very lucky! Totally worth getting the KM Donabe for, which is an awesome product anyways!
Nice to see two beautiful families come together. The Kimono Mom online community is the best.❤ Thank you Sutan, Moe, Erika, Moto and the rest of the team for bringing us such loving energy and touching our hearts every week...much needed in the world.
@@greekre*Stop projecting and seek mental health therapy. Meghan and Harry are living their best life far away from the racist Royal Family and the racist and toxic British media. Don't bring your evil demeanor to this lovely channel.* 🤬
This video has earnt my subscription. Not because I want to win a trip to Japan (I've been before, and can go again if I want). Don't get me wrong, I love Japan, and will return one day! I subscribed because in this video, you reminded me of the hospitality that Japanese people showed me when I was there. Your heart is so good!
Thank you for this cheery vlog. It looks like your visitors enjoyed their stay very much and that you enjoyed their company, too. So much laughter and enjoyment. Thank you for sharing! Love from Australia
What a beautiful family!! This made my heart so happy to watch… her father is just precious and is having the trip of a lifetime! It’s so lovely that you all helped their dreams come true and even took them around in person! Such sweet people, all around 🤍
Love the Musa family’s ambition, dynamism and bright enterprising future. Love Vanessa’s choice of Kimono color. I think Vanessa’s dad found his “spirit animal” in the Japanese culture. 👍🏼🇯🇵👍🏼
Très belle vidéo, la joie de cette famille fait plaisir à voir 😊 j’espère gagner le prochain voyage, je serai heureuse de rencontrer kimono mon et sa magnifique famille 😊❤❤
in my culture the eldest wear red! so the fathers clothing is so fitting in his red garb. i wonder if Japanese have colors dedicated to status?? i wonder because also the younger wear navy as well in my culture! i find it so interesting how similar our cultures can be yet so vastly different and so far apart. almost as if we inherently assign colors as humans without knowing. :) awesome vlog.
Right now, Twitter is buzzing with Nigerians introducing their food and hairstyles to the Japanese, and the Japanese are giving it a go. The interaction between the Japanese and Nigerians is really heartwarming. But on the flip side, there’s also a tweet that’s gone viral where tens of thousands from the American black community are demanding an apology and reflection from a Japanese teenage girl for having her hair in tiny braids (a hairstyle called AMIKOMI, which is pretty common in Japan). Watching this video, I can’t help but question the actions of the Americans. Are All American people sympathizing with their anger? Or is the Japanese girl’s braiding not a problem?
I am Asian, and my husband is from South America. We are multicultural. We have a Nigerian family that lives next to us. They are kind neighbors. By their example, it seems to me that the Nigerians are fun, kind, and respectful people. And the Nigerian food is delicious. My neighbors have come to our dinner parties and they brought some Jollof rice. It was very tasty. My daughter cant say it. She called it "jello rice" lol .I was embarrassed, and I thought they would be offended, but they all thought it was adorable lol... even if she cant say it, but she likes it too! Your heritage is a loving one. I am happy the Musa family had a great time! Xoxox from FL

Most of the cooking done in our house is Chinese (my wife is Chinese), but I love Japanese food, so I will cook it also. We don't have a clay pot though. It would be really great for many dishes - Chinese and Japanese. I should look into it.
Wow sugoi! What a beautiful opportunity for the Misu fam!! ❤ Btw, I would like to know the price of Donabe? And how to purchase. Domo arigatou gozaimasu! Hello to Su-chan! ❤❤❤
Here's a link to the Kimono Mom Online Store store.kimonomom.com/ There was recently "free International shipping" for the donabe, but I'm not sure if it's still being offered. Also be aware - depending on your country, there may be other additional customs and import duty charges by local governments.
