Hiya! I was the guy talking to ya at the dog tooth stage with the daft red and blonde dreadlock lil pimp wig haha, ya can see me for like a split second at 1:08:17 yeah I RU-vid’d how to download prep and found ya vids, yeah what a festival, last day killed me, trolley kept breaking that was the worst haha, bands where incredible I remember seeing disturbed and having a little cry omg .. whole thing was surreal
I've been watching your channel for a while. First, I'm just gonna say you are amazing. Beautiful, funny, entertaining. Love these festival vlogs. Where I'm from in Canada, we don't have festivals like that. The closest one is 8 hrs away, and it is a country festival. I have also been introduced to so many good bands. I'm looking forward to the next video!
I saw you in front of me during bring me the horizon near the back in front of the ice cream van outside dogtooth 😄 loved your hat btw 🤘 We had a nightmare of a time getting into download… left norfolk at 3pm, at 6pm we were supposed to be 16 minutes away from download and didn’t get parked until 10.30pm!! We had to park in north carpark and walk to eco camp, took us 1 hour to walk from carpark to camp, you had it soooo lucky 😆
oh wow! and thank you!! OMG, that sucks. We did hear all about the ques and everything from other people comin to our camp. I feel for everyone who went thorugh it! Yeah, leaving early will do that
I find it very cool that 2 people can go to the same festival, not even see a single same band and both have a great time! Because that's what happened with us 2, I didn't see a single one of the bands you did and you didn't see any of the ones I did, yet we both came out of the festival happy. Showing that Download knows how to get a lot of variety to please a lot of people at the same time. This was my first festival ever and although it was very hot, very expensive and very very tiring.. I loved it and have booked multiple more festivals for the rest of the year, plus will be back to Download again next year! This time bringing my wife along with me because I feel I missed out by going alone this year, got very lonely Inbetween bands. I did see you on tbe Wednesday but was too scared to approach your group in the moment, oh well.😅
@@serenakathryne Truly! I've booked a bunch of gigs along with Bloodstock and a couple all Black metal festivals. Big year for me with this stuff as in the past I've only seen 2 bands in a single year, this year will likely go way over 60.
@@serenakathryne yeah...although defo would have appreciated a bigger stage! Me and my husband had to listen from outside the tent as couldn't get in... was very funny though as they kept setting off a car alarm behind us (assuming one of the good vendors vans) I counted the alarm went off 6 times 😂
@@serenakathryne so they let you in the car park at 5/6 but you couldn't get your wrist band until later? Interesting, I'm should keep that in mind for next year , I was stuck in traffic for 7 hours🤢
@@azaz... They started letting us in to the campsite between 7/8am. Sometimes its later, depends when they are ready and health and saftey is signed off

That tarmac hill of doom was the main reason me and a mate decided to try RIP, that and we's getting old. Went for Metallica and Halestorm, decided Epica, Within Temptation and Evernescence were also worth roasting in the sun for :)
