This is accurate. I would get around 28-29 miles per gallon on my 2020 Mustang Ecoboost. 40 minute commute to work so over 80 minutes on the freeway for the day. My 2017 Mustang GT gets around 21 miles per gallon. I miss the miles per gallon on my Eco but it just doesn’t compare to my GT.
I have a 21 convertible. If you treat it like a Buick LeSabre you get good mileage. If you treat it like the V8s of 20 years ago that had like 310 hp then you'll burn gas. Best of both worlds actually
Hey bro how much are you lowered and do you have any issues with scraping anywhere with the new front splitter? I just put on my front splitter and getting Steeda sport progressive springs put on next Sunday so I don’t know if I’m gonna be too low
I was lowered on the exact same setup. I definitely had to be more careful where I drove and what angle I entered and exited, but still totally fine for a daily. 👌
I have 2020 ecoboost premium (convertible , all stock ), %70 of drive is in city and my average is 20.5 mpg and when I’m driving in freeway I can hit 27-28mpg
If you call HRS, they still sell them. They are discounted because of possible fitment issues, they don’t have them on their website but when I call them they told me that. I ended up ordering the V2 RGB though
The wheels I had were the Performance Package 1 wheels, which are 19x9 front and 19x9.5 rear. I knew these would work because these are PP1 brakes, so it's almost guaranteed they'd fit on PP1 wheels. 👍
I had this exact same problem. I even had the exact same metal clanging sound that scared the life out of me 😅 I got a new clutch fitted and I believe that’s fixed the problem as the pressure plate is replaced at the same time. I think 💭
@@MRTNFK8 I might have the same issue as I also heard a metal cling on my NC miata and sometimes is difficult to get into gear. About how much did it cost to replace everything?
Don’t know why this only now showed up on my news feed. My car is the supercharged new edge Mustang running the yellow pool noodles. I was trying to troll the dodge guys a bit.
I'm running GT Performance Package wheels 19x9 and 19x9.5 with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s Tires 255/40/19 in the front and 275/40/19 in the rear. I'm also on Steeda lowering springs which are 1 inch drop in the back and 1.1 inch drop in the front with Steeda 1 inch spacers all around. As for the wing, it's the GT Performance Package wing.
I had to daily drive mine, so I wanted the drone to be as little as possible. I do think it is a little too quiet and maybe a resonator delete or a downpipe can help it sound better 👍
The 2018 is the 1st year of the face-lift model. It's the 1st year with the 10 speed auto. They probably have a few 1st year problems, but I had no issues
If the smaller piece has the sequential flash for the turn signal, then you’ll have to run a wire from the bigger half to the smaller half. This way the lights function together correctly. The V1/V2 have the turn signal in the upper section and in both lights so you’ll have to run this wire. The V3 has the signal in only the bottom section of the bigger half, so no additional wire is needed.
if you press the off switch on the little lights, they have an animation when you turn on. otherwise if you have the switch on it just stays on when you turn on the lights like you have it. Still looks sick tho !!
Great Video! Quick question? I want to touch up and respray my black rocker panels. They don't need any repair, just have some road rash etc. What paint would you recommend? Thanks again!!!
It's one stage paint so anything you use will work for the most part, especially since it's black. I would look at paint that's made to go on metal and something that's generally made for automotive purposes. Key is to mask everything off well so you get a nice result.
@@MRTNFK8 Thanks so much for getting back to me! I was looking at one by SEM but what finish should I use? Some blogs say satin. Others gloss and I've seen matte.,Also, I'm thinking of not painting directly onto any bare metal and just going over the existing paint since it's in pretty good condition. Is that OK or are you suggesting to go down to bare metal?? If painting over the existing paint is OK then that is why I'm concerned with which finish. Thanks again!
@@stevenguzy570 I'd recommend "chip guard" paint as it seems like thats what came from factory. I would guess it has a matt/satin finish. IMOgloss would look strange and get scatched up from road debris. If you're painting over existing paint just clean it and prob scuff it up with a fine grit to ensure good adhesion.
